Have a question. Was going through the fee structures of some bschools and most of them have included "mess fees". Given that everything was online this year, are the current MBA students paying that extra mess fees or it is not required to be paid?

Wanted to make a small text post, now that memes are forbidden here, to congratulate everyone with their converts! I'm glad you all are in a comfortable position! Hopefully the conversion tank just keeps on filling up for as long as it can. Always lovely to see people rejoicing in these trying times. For those with a reject, I'm sure you all have good stuff waiting for you all! Being sad about is only makes you human, so it is very natural to let emotions out. Maybe cry and sob. It's okay. It only gets better from here. And hey, everyone over here is cheering for you all to do excellent! Just want you all to remember you're not alone in this, and there are tons of people in your spot. How are you guys keeping a level head rn? All the rejections faced by the 99.5+%ilers in the calls that are out (and these aren't even ABC, ffs) give me two understandable excuses to calm the thumps against my chest: 

- either the interviews didn't go well ("well" again, being subjective) or 

- the past sins bit them, unfortunately.

Now, all the interviews I *thought* went well for me seem pretty average af all of a sudden and some weird mentality is kicking in. I've tried my best to distract myself away from this whole drama but I guess these posts have finally gotten to me? IDK. 

Civil discussions are welcome in the comments. Absolute mental fckery right here, today. Fingers crossed that I don't have to deal with this rat-race again.

Open merit rank 6xx in NITIE.. don't see any chances of conversion.. I was expecting it to be a sure shot conversion and a backup for me.. but unfortunately couldn't make it to even realistic waitlist..profile is fine ig.. interviews were good..Dark days ahead ig but again it's always darkest before the dawn..

Congratulations to everyone who converted SJMSOM, IIT Bombay and NITIE. To just give you a fair overview of the cut off scores at IIT Bombay, here is the data from last year's admission process. You can go through the same (just search for SJMSOM).

As for NITIE I tried to get the details, but all I could get is the composite scores, minimum percentiles and the category wise current batch composition for PGDIM and PGDISEM programs. So I would post that but not sure without waitlist movement how useful that would be !!!

Hello all,

I have a mr of 34x for NITIE IM and also a wl 4 in VGSoM. Most probably I'll have to pay up for VGSoM in the next list tomorrow, given the unpredictable nature of wl movement for NITIE.

1. Considering, I'll take up IT/Analytics as a specialization, should I stick with VGSoM if I pay 1 Lakh in VGSoM. 

2. Also, can I convert NITIE for sure if I end up not paying VGSoM?

Why does BLACKIS always release the results in hierarchical order? I know the WL movement and stuff. But even if LKI etc release results some 5-6 days before ABC, it won't affect WL movement since there will be around 15 days to pay the confirmation fee right? So they do this just to respect the Bada Bhais? Or am I missing something here?

With the governtment warning third wave of covid is inevitable is it possible for colleges to open this academic year or atleast next year or will this years batch have to do our entire MBA classes online .

Will the covid ever stop ? are we really in kali yuga ? when will this misery end ?
