Hey guys.... Need a bit of help. I ain't gonna convert any IIMs this year and unfortunately this is my 1st and last attempt. I just converted TAPMI pgdm core and I am pretty sure that I am gonna convert IMTG, GIM, FORE and IITR.... Considering that I wanna major in Operations.... Which one should I chose among them... I am not gonna put a poll here cuz thats just full of trolls anyway.... Your feedback would be great via comments or dms... Thanks 😇

M2: okk. Tell me in detail about your work at inception Wave. What kind of Market research and what was the order of actions u took
Me: Answered. Bit of cross questions where I fumbled at first but made a good come back and he finally asked me to move on with 3-4 internship.
M2: ok, so what happened to Reliance. U didn't join it?

M2: asked about EdTech in general.

Me: made an excuse that since it was a global elective where anyone from any branch and year can join, me having a minor in Management Studies was later asked to leave the course as it was becoming unmanageable for the faculty..I was graded based on first internal assessment and till then we had covered a linear programming problem and simplex method
M1: asked me about LPP
Me: Answered (2/3 questions. 3rd one I think I said wrong as when he asked ki if no of equations are higher than no of constraints, what will happen. I said u can't find the solution)
I ended with saying that sir I have prepared mechanical subjects (he didn't ask me any questions on it. Such a weirdo
M1: ok tennis. What about it. How long u have been playing
Me: told my story. Mentioned that I don't follow the sports but I love to play it
M1(mofo) : asked me history of tennis
Me: Tried and then said sorry sir. Can't recall
M1: name of grand slams
Me: Answered with surfaces of each
M1: differences between AO and USO
Me: told the location and Timings but he cut me short and answered by himself. (🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🥲
M1: gave me a tip that I should study the history of something I genuinely like
Me: apologized but he cut me short and said are don't apologise

Me: gave a good answer. Accepted that my presentation PPT had a lot of big paragraphs and that actually did backfire on me as that was the sole assessment for the subject. He seemed convinced.
And laughed too.
Then said, ok Himanshu, m done.
F: Asked my hobbies again.
Me: gave a good answer.
F: okk, any questions.
Me: asked about what can I do to build on my marketing skills in the gap period I have between rn
F: dodged and said there are so many courses out there. Do em.
Me: exactly ma'am, that's why I was getting confused as there is literally so so so much is out there.

IIMA interview 998 99.99 IITK NC OBC Mechanical Fresher 16.03.2021 VCnow, CP, Delhi AWT : Pursuing further studies abroad immediately after graduation or after working and financing yourself. Interview: No Acads No GK P1, P2 P1: Where are you from? Answered and then had a bit of discussion about college re-opening. P1: Asked me if I sat for placement and which companies? Answered that I sat for all roles associated with business domain as a backup if I didn't get into a B-school so that the workex would be useful. P1: Asked me the company profile and what it does? Answered that I was recruited as an associate consultant at praxis which is a management consulting firm. P1 : Asked me the VP of the company, their clients and the offices Couldn't answer but told that they majorly dealt in financial services and about the 3 offices in India. P1: You know nothing about business and finance, I don't get why the companies hire people like you. ( I smiled ) Then asked if and how I follow news and if I had any specific interests such as politics, economy, sports. Answered that I read news on online platforms and I am slightly inclined towards sports. P1 : which sports? Cricket and chess P1 : Asked me names of various deliveries wrt to the length of the ball. Answered Fulltoss, Yorker, full length, good length and short length. P1 seemed happy and said good. Handed over to P2. P2 : Have you heard of gender wage gap. Explained. P2: Asked why it existed. Told it was going on from a long time and fewer job opportunities for women meant they agreed to work at lower wages. P2 : Asked is there even data to back that the gap exists Answered that there must be statistical data on wages for similar positions otherwise it would not be discussed so extensively. P2: Asked why reservation for girls was introduced in IITs Answered on the lines of a very low number of girls getting great ranks in JEE which reflected the lack of means and opportunities for them. P2 : Is it good? Answered that since they are additional seats, should be a positive in helping girls get good education P2 : If the seats weren't additional then? Answered that then it would be taking away opportunities from deserving people and we need to give more opportunities but not at the sake of deserving candidates. Had a bit of discussion where he said I was contradicting myself tried to explain wasn't convinced. P2: Since you have an interest in consulting (never said anything remotely like this), let's do a few cases. Car company manufacturers 4 cars and they have different sales volumes and mileage, what would be the average mileage of the company. Answered weighted average. P2: wrong answer Silence for 30 seconds P2: Said let's take White hat junior as a consultant would you recommend banning the company. Answered that they targeted 4/5/6 year olds who weren't in the position to make choices and so they were targetted parents and a ban wasn't needed but need to regulate the claims made by them. P2 : I am disappointed, I expected you to do a study. Tried defending that I felt that a study on such young children wasn't feasible. Wasn't convinced again. P1: Asked me if I travel frequently. Answered that I don't travel frequently but had recently visited Rajasthan. P1: How would you compare 2 cities like Jaipur and Udaipur Clarified if he was asking as a tourist or resident he said tourist. Answered on the lines of connectivity to the cities, number of places to visit, ease and cost of transportation and other expenses. P1: (not convinced at all) Asked if parameters would change if I was comparing Jaipur and Ajmer. Answered that no I would still use the same parameters. P1: We are done, nice talking to you. Please take a toffee. Exchanged pleasantries and ran for my life. Duration 25 minutes And the anxious wait for the results starts 😢...
I heard from some telegram group that colleges offer bulk discount on laptop purchase...does this happen at non IIMs like SJMSOM & DMS also?
