if anyone gets panel 17 in IIMC, fret not! they're fabulous people. So nice to me. The first question they asked after my "hello sir" was "are you sad seeing our faces? let me crack a joke!" and then he cracked a joke. (it was a bad one, but appreciate the sentiment). No maths question, no acad question. Lots of current affairs and opinion based discussions. I said I don't know a couple of times but they didn't mind and asked me to talk to them about what i want to(i chose farmer protests). all in all a fabulous panel. if i do get in(PLEASE PRAY THAT I DO), these professors will be my favourites. they're genuinely such nice, encouraging people

Guys I have 90+ marks in 10 and 12. But 5.9 CGPA in Grad. Currently I have a job of 14 Lakh base salary. I am afraid that due to my low grad cgpa, good package may be out of my reach in IIM placements. Is it worth going IIM I or K ?

A different perspective
For the last couple of weeks I saw the rise of memes against the reservation, diversity points, etc etc. Although you maybe correct in stating that the system is rigged against us, but then that's where the value resides. If every person was an IAS person, every kid an IITian, and every working adult an IIM grad, it becomes inflated and the value is lost.
So, am I supporting the current situation, the reservation against GEM ? No.
But, if it were not for the high bars of 99.5%+ minimum to get decent calls, I would be goofing around knowing that I can land good calls without effort. It's in the challenge itself that we become better and competent.
This reminded me of a snippet from a manga called One Punch Man.
