Hi PG folks,
I had my Calcutta interview yesterday.
It was most unlike all the other transcripts that I've been reading. It, more or less, entirely revolved around my UG subjects (Mining Engg.). Other than that, there was one simple probability question.
There were no questions on current affairs, HR, GK, hobbies or interests. They didn't even ask me to introduce myself or the mandatory "do you have any questions for us?".
I handled most of the questions satisfactorily save for two questions where I was completely stumped. The entire interview lasted for around 18 mins.
My scores for different components for CS calculation are:
CAT ~ 21/30
Workex - 0/8
Academic diversity - 0/4
I am an engineering fresher from an IIT. What do y'all think of my chances? Any feedback would be appreciated.
P.S. : I know this is a futile exercise but anxiety got the better of me.

Is it possible to convert SJSOM with a CS of 23.xx/55 Like can an interview make it for this with 40 points? Going to sit for the institute for the first time so don't know the trend for conversion.

RIL O2C Hive-off - Understanding the Restructuring
Reliance Industries’ (RIL) announcement last week hiving-off its Oil to chemicals business into a separate subsidiary is the third and final stage of company’s restructuring. The hiving-off is important not only from a re-alignment perspective but also because Oil & Petrochemicals sector is facing considerable uncertainty because of environmental issues, shifting energy consumption pattern etc. Global partnership at this stage would help RIL find new markets and preserve value which may, otherwise, erode sharply.
