The Finance Commission has expressed concern about the low tax/GDP ratio in India and has discussed in detail, ways to reduce this. Other than low tax base, significant amount of tax revenue is lost through invocation of large number of tax exemptions companies receive. (As an effort to plug this, the Finance Minister added an important clause in the budget this year that all exemptions in customs duty, henceforth, would be effective for two years only). So, how much do these exemptions affect governmentβs tax revenue. A brief look.Β
My college has semester grading system. But there is a formula for conversion to percentage. NITIE is auto calculating our Percentage without paying attention to different weights for different semesters, nor the formula followed by the University. The auto calculated is percentage is above my actual percentage. What should I do?
Is a plain background necessary for the interview? Can I give it in front of my bookshelf? Has anyone here been questioned on their immediate surroundings?
For CAP, we can just leave the meeting after the interview is over right? I was told 'you may go back now' at the end of the interview. I wonder if it was for the waiting room?
Sabke id verification ho rahe hai kya CAP mein? I was directly led to the interview, and after the interview, the panelist told me to leave. No id verification done. Anyone faced the same?
A little stuck on the next course of action here. Any suggestion or insights are welcome.

Unsure whether it's a good idea to target for 2 year courses anymore considering the work-ex. Targeting MBA primarily for credibility and to fast track into a more decision making/strategic roles.
At the moment, thinking of eMBA in next 2-3 years.
Looking forward to any recommendation or insights.
