Guys, just a silly question. But it is haunting me quite a lot these days.
The question is : Have you seen someone rejected in PIs by all IIMs, even the baby ones even after scoring a 99.5+ ? I am really panicking as the days are getting numbered and it is my first ever B school interview. Tbh, in my college life, I have attended two job interviews only : one from TCS and other one from IBM. I converted them both, but the good thing about them is that they were out and out technical. B school interviews won't be like that and I am paranoid with this thought that how will I perform if it is a stress interview like if they keep on grilling like "Why are you here? We don't want you" etc. There is every chance that I will get tongue-tied and end up messing the entire interview.
Will be really helpful if someone helps me out from this situation and give me a reality check.
Do you guys think that generally [barring minority exceptions], chances of getting a good cat percentile reduces while preparing it along with a job in hand as opposed to coming fresh out of college or giving it without a jobÂ
Points in favour- Less time in hand to prepare, attension division on more than one thing
Points against-Good backup, better mindset, helps in interviews
Hey guys, am in a dilemma and any advice would be great!
I have been working in TCS since Jun 2019. The work right now is very hectic. Short I announce my resignation and start serving the notice period? In case of I don't convert any of the colleges I want, I can cancel the notice. Or would that out undue pressure on me to convert? Should I just continue to work and resign only after I convert a good school?
!!URGENT, Please Help!!
I had 68.9% in graduation, but I filled 70% in the cat application form, since the results were declared a few days after the CAT form correction period ended and had sent a mail to IIM Indore about the same, where they advised me to inform the same to the respective institutes . I have a 99.90 Percentile in CAT-2020. Will this in any way affect my candidature for admission the the top IIMs.
If anyone has any experience or idea about this, please help. I am getting constant panic attacks thinking of all that could go wrong.
PS: IIM Calcutta is my dream institute and this mistake isn't changing my points for graduation in any way, will this still create an issue. Please help Guys
