Given that 190,000 have written the exam this yr instead of 210,000,isn't it likely that the cutoffs for calls would also drop by 0.1 or 0.2 percentile points if colleges are calling same no of students as last year?

I have prepared for CAT, scoring 90 in alot 3 :( I am fairly good in quants, have read decent enough diverse topics for verbal( accuracy still not top notch) Given IMS XAT mock 101- scored 36 marks in it (10.5/15/10.5) - (VA/Q/DM) What Should I be doing in terms of practice or whatever? Is there a group where general queries regarding GDPI can be clarified? If not, here's my question: As a mechanical engineering fresher, I realise there's a high chance a lot of my PI might revolve around acads. I've been working for close to half a year now, but the workex duration in my application reads 15 days (lol). Is it worth the time and effort to go back to thermodynamics, fluid mechanics? I hardly remember that stuff now, honestly. If there are veterans out here who have been in my boat before, do let me know how you went about your PI prep as a fresher-engineer. How did the PI turn out? Did you have to steer it towards your workex at the time? Was it a difficult thing to do? Stuff like that. Thanks.

Suppose if some left his job in march 2020, prepare rigorously and managed to get decent 99+ percentile, along with that he/she worked in ngo , did certification/ internship ,learned creative skills, participated in social activity clubs , Will it still lower his chances in interviews which will happen in feb/ march of nxt yr .. assuming he/ she will have a gap of 11 months by that tym?
Here's my humble take on CAT 2020 possible percentiles (Will just post percentile mapping for now)
Overall (Scaled Score out of 228)
1) 99.8+%le: 123
2) 99.5+%le: 115
3) 99.0+%le: 104
4) 98.0+%le: 95
5) 97.0+%le: 87
6) 96.0+%le: 84
7) 95.0+%le: 81
8) 90.0+%le: 70
9) 85.0+%le: 65
10) 80.0+%le: 62
This is based on past treands (5 years of CAT), CrackU, general gut feels. Might post a more detailed version later but try and fit yourselves into this.
Slot 1 OA: -2/3 marks
Slot 2 OA: +2/3 marks
Slot 3 OA: 0 marks
< 99 bracket: Not too sure if CAT will do anything drastic in normalisation this year as usually their trends seem to indicate that. But given 3 slots things may change but not expecting too much here.
> 99 %le bracket: As the scores go up, there will be more effect of scaling due to the discrepancy in top scorers of Slot 2 (being lesser) than other slots. Most variance will be observed in LR of Slot 1 (Easy), VA of Slot 1 (Harder), LR of Slot 2 and 3 (Harder), QA of slot 2 (Harder). So the swings will be more.Now this is purely speculative, so not up for debate :)
