I started my prep in Aug and my first mock score was 61/300. Then I started to work on quants and DILR (Verbal is/was the least of my concerns).
I upped my score to 120/300 and now I score around 90-100 in the new pattern.
But here is the catch, 80-85% marks come from QUANT/VARC. I have never been able to cross 2 sets on an average. Kabhi kabhi ek hi set ban paata hai. Also, I work 10 hours a day. So, I have decided to quit DILR and leave it to fate but at the same time give my all to VERBAL/QUANT so if kismat accha ho and 2-3 set ban jae then it will hopefully work for me.
The reason for this is I already make 13lpa and I anything below 99 will be backtracking. And 23 days me koi teer nahi mar lunga ki 4 set ban jae. Office se chutti bhi nahi le sakta ๐ท:P
ps- gyan mat dene lagna koi but discuss kr skte h if someone is kinda on the same boat
