India’s persistent deficit on current account or current account deficit (CAD) is financed by the flow on capital account which forms the other part of international balance of payment. Some of the major elements of this are FDI, FII, ECB etc. If there is a shortage on this count too, there will be a reduction in forex reserves leading to situation as seen in 1991. About one month left for CAT. Focus on improving your weak areas, and don't forget that VARC is also important (the game-changing section IMHO). Last but not least, always remember that CAT is just an aptitude test, and your CAT score simply indicates your state of mind on the day of the exam during those 2 hours, nothing more. There's much more in life beyond CAT, and a 2 hour aptitude test should not be glorified.
