LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
It is the power of a private or a gaggle of people to influence and guide followers or other members of a corporation. While creating and articulating a clear vision or providing followers with the knowledge and establishing achievable goals, Leadership involves making sound -- and sometimes difficult – decisions.
Leadership is about getting people to grasp and believe the vision you set for the corporate and to figure with you on achieving your goals, while management is more about administering and ensuring the day-to-day activities are happening as they ought to.
A manager must have traits of a innovator, i.e., he must possess leadership qualities. Leaders develop and start strategies that build and sustain competitive advantage.
For an optimal efficiency in any organization Both Leadership and management have to be robust.
MANAGERS vs. LEADERS
We have Managers who Give Directions where as on the other hand Leaders ask questions.
If Managers have subordinates then Leaders have followers.
When Managers use a controlling style, there Leaders has a motivational style.
While Managers tell what to do, Leaders demonstrate what to do.
Managers provides with good ideas which are then implemented by leaders.
Managers respond to change when Leaders generate change
Managers aim to be heroes Leaders formulate heroes of everyone around them
Managers train power over people Leaders build up power with people

I have done my 12th from cbse board and had a sixth subject but didn't appear for its exam so although it is mentioned on my marksheet it is not mentioned on my passing certificate. Should I consider it while filling CAT form?
Hello I got 70.04%in 10th..70%in 12th and 72%in graduation commerce student and b.com(h) student having 25 months of work experience...just wanna know if I score 95 or 99+percentile won't I get any call from top 5 bschool? I mean top.5 iims? Being non eng..will my past acedemic will effect my dream my goal even aftrt scoring 99+ being non Engineer? Plz help me
I am giving SIMCATS, I want to add one more test series for practice mocks. Do you guys have any advice, which one to take? Time or CL? Something else?
A classmate of mine (NOT a friend) got into one of the IIMs with just 83 percentile last year.
Guess how?
This guy belonged the SC category.
All throughout engineering college, he paid just 830 bucks as annual fees.
And he came to college on a KTM Duke 390 bike, which costs close to 2.5 Lakh, went clubbing to the most expensive discos, smoked Ganja all day instead of attending lectures.
Also, he was suspended twice for harrasing a junior girl and making lewd gestures and comments at fellow girl college mates.
This General category is like the slaves of the colonial era who have to pay more for the services and in return received humiliation. The amount of humiliation can be calculated by this that a poor student from an unreserved category has supposed to pay thrice to the rich student of a reserved class. Moreover, the voice of these unreserved class people in India has no value.
Shame on a system like this! Shame on bl**dy leeches like my friend!

Global research on coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
WHO is bringing the world’s scientists and global health professionals together to accelerate the research and development process, and develop new norms and standards to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and help care for those affected.
The R&D Blueprint has been activated to accelerate diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutics for this novel coronavirus.
The solidarity of all countries will be essential to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 health products.
Global research database
WHO is gathering the latest international multilingual scientific findings and knowledge on COVID-19. The global literature cited in the WHO COVID-19 database is updated daily (Monday through Friday) from searches of bibliographic databases, hand searching, and the addition of other expert-referred scientific articles. This database represents a comprehensive multilingual source of current literature on the topic. While it may not be exhaustive, new research is added regularly.
The WHO evidence retrieval sub-group has begun collaboration with key partners to enrich the citations and build a more comprehensive database with inclusion of other content. The database is built by BIREME, the Specialized Center of PAHO/AMRO and part of the Regional Office’s Department of Evidence and Intelligence for Action in Health.

of ifs & buts I'll be joining IIM Udaipur for pursuing Master of Business Administration (2020-22).
Though I've missed a few of my best calls including IIM A PGP-FABM, Life is not always about being Perfect or succeeding at everything but making mistakes, learning from them and encashing the available opportunities.
I'm not here going to about my journey to MBA from Agriculture as everyone have their own set of struggles & failures and finally how you overcame it in the end is the most beautiful part.
