Feeling shot after a particularly bad Mock test?
I am in a deep dilemma. The best and only convert I have this season is IIM Sirmaur. Although in the impulse yesterday I posted, I won't be joining, I am now having second thoughts. Entering into CAT race, I only thought of joining DSE/DBE (never had big expectations being so much butt hurt in past), but got an outright from DBE, due to change in its criteria, reason Covid. Talking about DSE, had world it been in a normal condition, I would have happily joined it despite its various drawbacks but things have completely changed and the kind of mismanagement DSE Mgmt has shown over the months makes me fear, will completely destroy this MBA thing. The only thing that is on motivating is its extremely low fees. Again, had it been a normal year, I would have joined IIM Sirmaur, without giving a second thought. But now being the classes are online for 1st term for a program that is only 20-22 month long, really demotivates me. I don't want to have a single ........ing day of the program as Virtual. Also we really don't know when this pandemic in control, so it adds more uncertainty. Now the dilemma is that, had it been IIM-Kashipur I would have happily joined the program. But considering my WL no, and now that it's WL is closed, it isn't possible. The main reason for me joining a MBA program, is to get over my recluse state and face the world a little confidently and also giving my career ⛵ which is lost in a sea of chaos, a definite direction. My undergrad is inexistent. I never had classes, friends as that my undergrad college is a complete graveyard, which I also visited just to gave exams. These 4 years have been complete waste and full of isolation. So I want to experience that missing parts, and surely Virtual world can't let it happen. I have been is a dilemma, because I already have been a year drop, giving next CAT, would make it a 2 year drop. Despite searching for jobs, internships past 2+ months, I have none at this moment. Also my grad is below 60 and that to from a crap of a place. Also the CAT score has high uncertainity. So, I don't if I would once again get chance to reach place like IIM (although not in a brand fetish). I don't have a idea what would I do for probably next 11 months and would I be able to reach a place like this or a little better next year. The most problematic part is 💰, had it been fees of DSE/DBE there won't be any issue, even if I had left them in middle for a better option. But for a places like Sirmaur where the stakes are incredibly high, atleast for me, it intensifies fear. Lastly it is the society , although I say it ........ing doesn't matter to me, still it ........ing matters. Every time question arises what are you doing in your life, it creates a serious existential doubt. And this doubt is harrowing painful and killing. Facing uncertainity with a lot of self doubt/hate and no confidence is extremely challenging and toiling. There has been a time when I was on a mountain peak and I felt so hard from there in every possible aspect, I despise even looking it back or thinking about it. Life did gave a few opportunities to make things better, but I turned a blind eye to them, because of fear. Leaving this chance, feel similar kind of foolishness. Once being part of a group of over achievers, now I became a sole failure. I don't know why the ........ I am writing this and does it make any sense. Nor do I am seeking for any suggestion. I won't be joining IIM Sirmaur anyway. But I just wanted to write about the dilemma. Even though I am completely alone in this bleak situation in my surroundings, I know I am not alone in this world, there is someone out there who is facing the same crisis. I know there is more in crisis in my head than in reality but that is what it is. Thanks for giving this nonsense a read.

Please advise Thankyou in advance Is KJ somaiya Financial Service worth joining? Means what is the lowest package offered to FS students? I got 96.03 percentile in CAT this year and I am 2019 passout (already 1 year gap) should I attempt CAT2020 or Join KJ-FS ? If I take CAT2020 then I will have 2 year gap So will it be tough for me to get into TOP IIM’s next year with 2 year gap?
