Can anyone take an attempt at this? Helping a friend appearing for CAT 2020
Hey guys! I have some CAT prep study material (CL + Time +Misc) DM me is anyone is interested in purchasing. Prices can be discussed (approx 6k)
I have been talking about B-School analysis(IITs,IIMs or private colleges) with a person in corporate and realized some points that can be considered before choosing a college. I've made my decision to drop for CAT-2020 but maybe these points can help someone making a wise decision:-
1) Hiring would be slow in the upcoming years and everyone would focus on their basic domain for calling companies for better packages (engineering for IITs).
2) Foreign placements may disappear for some time increasing domestic graduates for placements and even core engineering students in IITs.
3) There might be breaks in current session (first year online in sjsom) which makes companies more tilted towards proper B-schools for hiring.
4) Some ties with big MNCs for the IITs got affected by the covid-19 pandemic and they are now free to create new ties with emerging colleges(new IIMs or private colleges).
Asking for a friend - Till what merit rank did IIM Indore offer last year to general category?

Need help guys. I am a software engineer working in a product based company with work experience of 3 years. My only chances of convert this year is of MDI PGDPIM program. I am confused if I should join this program as the total expense would be around 32 lakhs and the covid situation and it's effects. Seniors are of good opinion on this program making the decision even more difficult. My main apprehension of joining is if the final placements take a major hit, it will take a long time to repay the loan. (I understand MBA is a long term investment but paying emi of 50k-60k for atleast 5-7 years doesn't seem good) . Should I try for executive mba or give cat again or take PGP-IM this year itself? Would love to hear your thoughts on this! Thanks.

profile NC OBC engineer 87.5 cbse 81 hse 61 % btech mechanical 25 months experience in engineering(mechanical) field. Extra curriculars are also good. I have undertaken some leadersip roles in my college days. I attempted cat 19 but failed miserably due to some health conditions and scored pretty much well in other exams. So am looking forward to prepare for CAT 2020 and targeting to get into a premier institute. Suggest me some good colleges for the abv mentioned profile and pls guide me like how to get into IIMs Suggest me good mocks other than ims and time. Thanks in advance

Guys, how easy or difficult it is to switch colleges? I mean, if I take admission in IIM rohtak today, pay the first term fee, attend the online classes but later decide to switch to IIM shillong, as and when it is offered, will I be able to do it?
Would there be any administrative hassle? Is it common to switch colleges?
Is there reservation for NC-OBC,SC,ST,EWS in Army, Airforce and Navy?
