I have converted MDI Gurgaon and IIM ROHTAK. Which should I opt for. I am a doctor by profession. Can anyone help me out? IIM brand or MDI reputed old college.

GEM Fresher with 95 in 10th and 90 in 12th. I ....ed up my undergrad + college has a terrible conversion ratio to % so only have 65 in UG
Wrote CAT this year without serious preparation and surprisingly ended up with 99.34 percentile. 95 in quant and 99+ in VARC and LRDI. Due to bad UG and lack of workex, only had calls from IITB, TISS, XLRI and NITIE. Too high a waitlist no. at both XLRI and NITIE, and the conversion in the 1st 2 doesn't look probable either. Didn't apply to MDI as this was meant to be a trial attempt
1. How do I step it up from where I am to a 99.8+? Any suggestions apart from mock analysis
2. I know I'll need a 99.65/99.7+ for a C call. How much would I need for a Lucknow call, considering I would have 0/1 month of workex come 31 July 2020?
3. My preference is for HR, but XLRI's admissions are a bit of a roulette wheel and TISS has only about 30 odd seats for General. Is MDI HR a good option?
4. Should I be aiming for IIFT and SIBM too this year, or should I be passing on them?

Has your calculation speed also reduced drastically post CAT? It has for me and it's frustrating to see oneself going from doing complex computation quickly to struggling to add small numbers

After an truly awesome interview (I don't think i could've done better), I'm at 871 waitlist in MDI. I'll convert IM according to last year year's waitlist, but I won't be taking it most probably) because of coronavirus scenario. I feel really down.. did my profile haunt me, or my Percentile, or both? I don't know. It's just as I failed. 2 results are left, but I have no hope from them, the interviews didn't go well in one, and other scrapped interviews. It's really bad to be ambitious, and determined, and have expectations from yourself. I feel lost, don't know what to do, don't know how to score 200+, don't know any other path, for what I am without dreams, and now they seem so far away. I don't want to compromise, and I cannot see a way forward. Maybe the destination is very near, or it might be at the very end, but I'm not able to it amid the trees. I have all the motivation I need, but nothing else. I don't want to target small, I want and wanted the moon, but I don't know where I've landed chasing it. There are so many people dissuading me from doing mba now, including some of my friends and my mother. Maybe they are right, it's been 3 years after college I'm chasing a dream, that's only running away from me at a faster pace than that I'm running. It never seemed so near this year, and yet so so far. From scoring 88%ile in cat 2016 I'm now at 98%ile in cat 2019. Everybody keep saying that i need a break, but from what? I can't even see a way forward, what will be of those hopes, those promises, the trust? What of all those tears, and sweat? All I know right now that i don't feel good, and it'll pass: maybe tomorrow, maybe day after tomorrow, but what after that? Should I compromise on my dreams and ambition? Maybe I should, it's a rational way of things, but can I? I'm very irrational in such things. The night is dark and full of terrors..
What are your views on this? Is this correct? IIMK has added 60 supernumerary seats for women to the PGP programme and introduced two new courses- PGP Finance and PGP-LSM from 2020 onwards with 60 students each, effectively taking the batch size to ~590. This is slightly more than the PGP+IPM combine at I.
Dreams do come true!!! Started with a meagre 68.61 percentile in cat 17 and ended with a 99.24 in cat 19 and then converted my best call(fms was never in my reach so can't consider it my best call). MDI it is!!
Which one to choose considering long term ?
