What type of laptop should one take to Bschool? Should it be portable or powerful or both? 

Can you guys suggest a good one with a good battery life, under 1L ?

LOL. Gave CAT 8 times, received IIM L call for the first time. Went into the PI. The questions they asked? 0. They just kept saying you shouldn't come to IIM L. You should apply for Harvard, Insead, etc. I tried justifying my decision for IIM L. But they wouldn;t listen. Interview over inside 5 minutes. With them saying "Its your choice". I said thanks fr interviewing, have a good day.


I came out dissaponted, but thought maybe they would select me and leave the decision up to me. But boy was I wrong. Received 17 marks in PI. Making it impossible for me to convert the call.

My IIM L NC-OBC merit rank 253 (i've been waitlisted)

Admission offered is till rank 209 in NC-OBC,

Will i clear? M afraid of the buffer calls. Last year admissions were offered till 330 merit rank in NC-OBC.

Raipur vs Udaipur

Udaipur's placement report is Audited. People who have seen the placement report would have seen a column called "Maximum earning potential".

Can we equate the median value of Highest earning potential with that of  Raipur's median value? 

Just asking, trying to find ways to compare audited and unaudited reports.

Disclaimer: This might be a very controversial poll. No offence intended to anyone. Is it wise to believe the horror stories about IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Raipur that have been floating around? I saw one about IIM Udaipur on Quora as well, regarding placecom harassment.
