Warning - Don't read if you get offended easily : The big picture perspective of having MBA Graduates in the country is to boost efficiency of businesses and in effect accelerate economic growth and development. At the micro level, ~ everyone is selfish and would step on others to go forward. Therefore, It is the responsibility of B schools to select candidates who would fit into the larger goal.
The CAT exam in itself has to have elements where diversity is tested for. Like a section which is creatively focused, which is peer tested by experts and is not MCQ. A section like Decision Making. And obviously, all basic sections. It is best conducted thrice a year, and a simple average of the three be considered.
Basic study resources have to be made available to everyone who registers for CAT such that it is adeuqate to crack CAT. Thus, all underprivileged candidates have access to what it needs to ace CAT.
The PI has to be more rigorous and the selection process in itself should test diversity of opinion, and strategic thinking, and analytical skills. All of it.
No points for diversity, academic or gender or work-ex. No reservation. No points for past academic record. Everyone would be comprehensively tested, and the factors which are required won't be brought in from outside.

maybe we all should not forget that its a formal platform , calling out people anonymously , abusing them , trolling them, making rather offensive memes etc is not expected here. there are other respectable ways to keep views. dont make pg your playground.

Guys, This Rajashekar guy is surely not interested in mentoring and this is just a business for him. And any sane person is going to understand that and those who don't will eventually understand and his business isn't going to succeed. And this guy is right about one thing. He is not worth our time. We should focus our energy on our exams and future instead of fighting with him. I'm pretty sure he would have enough money by now to hire some guy for 10k and handle his pg account for him. We might not even be interacting with him on these posts. Let's start reporting his posts and hope pagal guy does something. Just report his posts if you find them inappropriate and spread the same. If 80% people report his posts, I'm sure PG is going to do something about him. I'm not saying let's not fight him, let's fight him smarter.

You claim that your students are successful and you use that to take more students . Are we supposed to believe you based on what you said ? Asking for a friend (Class 12 Stream:Commerce)- Is IPM IIM-Indore/Rohtak a better option or is it better to do a graduation(Economics/B.Com(Hons.)) and then give CAT ?
@rajshekhar_roy Sir, As an MBA aspirant, I have been thinking about your mentorship program from another angle and I have to say I've fallen in love with the business model. Your so called "mentorship program" is a great business idea that too with minimal investment. Even if you would have opened an online coaching centre, the bare minimum requirement would be to maintain a website and you need to pay to own that domain. Considering all such efficiencies, I would have to agree that you're a genius. I can see that you have been a CEO in the past and you have quit that post right now and this is a great initiative by you to earn 30L on an average sitting at home using your past credentials (assuming its you who is running the program and you have not hired folks to do that for you). Given the genius you are, I know for sure you wouldn't stop with 50-60 students and most likely you would have plans for scaling up the business. I request you to enlighten me and my fellow MBA aspirants about your future plans and especially about how you'll overcome the resistance you're facing right now (first mile issues of your business). I hope you'll give us this knowledge for free or is there a "mentorship program" for "How to run a successful business preying on people's ignorance?"
