For my future memories feed: lest I forget to be grateful! Today is Thursday, April 30, 2020. - We are at 37 days of social isolation. - One US dollar is 76 indian rupees. - Schools have been closed since mid March and are teaching remotely on-line. This will continue for the rest of the school year. - There are lines / tapes inside the stores to keep people 6 feet apart. - Bars and restaurants only for home delivery & pick-up. - Parks, beaches and walk-in places are not accessible to the public. - All sports competitions have been cancelled. - All festivals and entertainment events have been banned. - Weddings, family celebrations and birthdays have been cancelled. Funerals limited to immediate cohabitants. - People are doing drive-by parades to celebrate birthdays! - Young kids can’t understand why they can only see grandparents & other extended family and friends on a screen or thru a window if someone visits in person. - Hugs and kisses are not given. - Places of worship are closed or online. - We have to stay away from each other more than a meter. - Shortage of masks and gloves in hospitals. - There are fewer ventilators than there should be. - People are wearing masks, some places even REQUIRE that you wear them to enter! People are even making their own masks for sale or donation to medical facilities! - Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes and anything Lysol or Clorox is in short supply and limited per person.... IF you can even find them! - Store check outs, pharmacies and even fast food drive thru windows have added plexiglass between employee and customer. Have to reach around or under to pay! - You can't find isopropyl alcohol easily. .. supply per person is limited. - almost all countries have closed their borders. - Every city has been divided into tiny zones & an instant fine issued for crossing the zone without a valid reason. (Transport workers, Essential services etc) - No one is travelling. Airports are empty. Tourism has the worst crisis in history. It's a reminder that life is precious & that nothing should be taken for granted. We are where we are with what we have. Let's be grateful.

Is there anyone who still has not received the online interview schedule for IIM C?

If you have got the date for online interview, please mention it in comments.

With SIM 1 done, the curtains to a new season have been lifted. Having been in your position for a couple of times, I can relate to all the emotions that you guys (or shall I say puys) must be feeling.Β

To aid you with your preparations, here is a link to all the material that I had at my disposal during the preparations phase:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Do3m3BB1d0_6PxZr_SWf9oHXKbdSQnpe

Please bear with me through a couple of tips/recommendations that I am about to throw at you with regards to the material:

1) Use the mocks of the past three years for your preparations. Especially for VARC & DILR. These mocks are well made and can be a really useful tool for quality preparations.Β

2) I really liked the LRDI of the day series from Learningroots. I have attached the video solutions of the same. But I suggest you to first try and solve those by yourself and then dive into the video solutions. (This can also be a good revision tool for those who are already well versed with this area).

3) There is a similar series for Verbal: RC of the day. I would recommend everyone to practice those RC's.

Bonus: For puzzle lovers like me, there are a lot of books to keep you at your toes!

PS1: Brace yourselves because it's going to be one hell of journey. And make sure you remember to keep enjoying as this is a journey that you all will cheerish for a long long time.

PS2: This are just my two cents to a place that has given me a family.

PS3: All the very best guys! Hope you all crack your dream B-school. Cheers!

PS4: Feel free to reach out to me anytime in case you guys have anything!

PS5: Apologies for a long post. I'll shoo away now!

This is a bit personal as it sums up the 6 months trauma perfectly

CAT VARC is a double edged sword. It protected me from the anxiety of numerous scandals of colleges but also prevented me to get into interviews of those colleges.
