Asking for a friend. She is having a dilemma in framing an answer for question which maybe asked in her interview. Your help will be much appreciated. She has her pgpba interview and couldn't figure out what to respond in case the interviewers ask, why didn't you join pgdba and instead want to join pgpba. She hasn't attempted pgdba because of some issues but is interested in analytics. So, what would be the best way to tackle this question. TIA.

 Owing to the recent market scenario, if the choice of subject specialisation is not taken into account, which one would be a better choice among SIOM(Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik) & GREAT LAKES CHENNAI PGPM ( 1 year program where job domain is mostly in analytics & consulting) .  Keeping in mind - 

 1) The market scenario in 2021 & 2022 

 2) Among 'SCM & Ops' and 'Analytics & Consulting' which one to likely rise up early 

 3) The exposure provided by the two colleges that would facilitate my growth in the next 5-6 years down the line  

4) Even if another crisis hits in the future ,  which field among the two (Operations and analytics&consulting) would help me survive in the corporate field.  

5) Is PGPM accepted globally and would that help me get into a higher education 

(I am considering all these factors so please provide your answers on the basis of this. You are free to add your own views,reasons & factors)
