IIM K report card - does not postpone or shift pending interviews online during a global pandemic - gives 10 marks as diversity points weeding out deserving candidates with 99.5+ percentiles - is infamous for taking the most random interviews ever, and generally being abusive with candidates. (Ask anyone who has given an interview there 99% will agree) I don't mean to be critical of an Institution, but the way they give absolutely 0 heed to their applicants is troubling. It's certainly not behaviour expected from a "top institute". And everyone I have spoken to agrees. IIM K? I'll pass.

Pagalguy is a great resource for aspirants! But it's sadly missing a very important feature: a robust "search" function. With no way to search for keywords in posts or comments one has to show extra farsightedness in starring the posts.
Hi guys, I've been in a dilemma for the last two days.. wondering if some of you can give some suggestions My calls are IIM Indore, Kozhikode, CAP, SPJIMR All interviews but K are done.. and of course K is not cooperating in helping us find ways to reach the campus or even making it online. I've called up a few travel agents and everybody is hesitant and saying there's barely any transport on the road including public buses. Flights are being rescheduled etc. I've a wait list 12 for IM in SPJIMR. CAP and Indore was decent but no idea if I'll convert. Does it make sense to skip K? Their attitude towards applicants is really insensitive despite us reaching out to them for help so many times. P.S thanks for bearing with my rant

Just An Anime Show Recommendation For These Unexpected Holidays: If you have ever gone through or felt failures/isolation/depression/life not worthy continuing/lack of purpose/existential crisis/emotional breakdown ie. when you feel your life & you suck and it is complete shit, this show is for you. It's something at the same time so weird yet so real, I think everyone can relate to its characters in one way or another. The characters will give you a reason to live amidst of all the meaninglessness of life. It taught me the single most important thing in life : "However bad, purposeless life gets, one must continue to live, because as long as you're living, there is a hope that things would get better. Don't die." If everything is going smooth in your life, you have never failed or struggled emotionally, then you might not find this show, you may find its characters complete failures in their lives and struggling because of their own choices and acts. You will think of them nothing but bunch of fools, suffering from mental or personality disorders. You can find the complete show on YouTube. Very small, just 24 episodes of about 20 minutes each. In the coming week or two, India as a nation is being watched by the world. By the more developed economies like Italy and more influential world powers like USA. By neighbours like China and further away countries like Iran. They are all watching if India is able enough to deal with a looming threat to the healthcare, economy and life of its citizens. At the verge of an exponential explosion, are we as a nation smart enough, strong enough, kind enough and responsible enough to fight against a common enemy. An enemy that is being feared world over. It's up to us to set an example to all the ones who are watching with intent, if we succeed or fail. People who are looking at us with skepticism because our reputation of being a crowded, overpopulated and unhygienic group of people precedes us. We have a chance to show the world that we are a young, vigilant and united country. And we can fight what might seem so insurmountable. Do your part. Maintain social distancing, stock up foods but leave enough for others. Have compassion for someone who is underprivileged, use the public resources responsibly. These are warlike times and it is our chance to create history. Don't let it pass. Together, we can!
Given the dept of the situation, many MBA interns are either asked to WFH or their internship stands cancelled. Aspirants, if you crack your best call (top-10 B schools), would you be joining it for the upcoming batch? Won’t you be concerned about summer’s or final’s?

I've seen people from IIM's asking for internship opportunities by posting in LinkedIn... what's your view on this ? Is this because of lack of jobs and not getting one on campus?
In these troubled times of COVID-19, an important saying gets reversed : "United We Fall, Divided We Stand" Please take this seriously, for your own sake, your community and our country. A few days of isolation can keep infinite days of disaster at bay for every one of us. I hope we all reach our destined B-school this year safe, healthy and happy. ☮️ 😷🙂
