FMS ki GDPI process me 15/30 lana kitna easy hai. I mean 50 percent marks lana sounds easy but purane 3-4 experiences ekdum khatarnak sunne me aaye hain FMS ke jisme 8-9 total marks dekar sapne tode gaye hai baccho ke. Koi prakash dalo ispar!

Can anyone tell me how my interview was? SJMSOM IITB Interview 09/03/20 WAT - Topic 1 about Freelancing Topic 2 about Paid and Fake news PI - A1 (Alumini 1), A2 (Alumini 2) and S1 (SJMSOM Prof.) A1 - Tell me about yourself. Me - Told about College, Startup, International Level Medal, Hobbies. A2 - Please tell us more about your startup. Me - Started Explaining. S1 - Okay Now explain in detail and also explain why it failed. Me - Started to explain but was interrupted in between. S1 - Okay you're product is sold to us , now what did you learn from this. What will you change if you get a try again? Me - Told that I need to get a proper business education to understand the industry. S1 - So you're saying, an entrepreneur needs to be a MBA. Who's your rolemodel as an entrepreneur and which MBA college is he from? Me - Not necessarily but it would be an added advantage if you get a proper education first and then make plans. My rolemodel is Jeff Bezos and he's from Wharton Business School. S1 - Not all entrepreneurs are MBAs, tell me the Founder of Ola. Me - Sir, I don't know. S1 - If you have a passion for an entrepreneur, why MBA just hire a sales team. Me - Sir my passion lies in the work associated with the different streams of an entrepreneur like Sales and Operations and it's better to learn what you like rather than hiring someone else for that. S1 - Okay what all startups do you know. Me - Zomato, Swiggy, Udaan, Flipkart. S1 - So Flipkart is a startup? Me - Umm Sir I think it has been more than 10 years so it won't be called a startup. S1 - Okay tell me the founders of these startups. Me - Told about Zomato, Flipkart and Udaan. S1 - And from which MBA colleges are they from? Me - Sir I'm Sorry I haven't seen their LinkedIn Pages. S1 - Okay How many co founders were there in your startup and your role in it. Me - Sir 4 and I was the administrative head, also involved and sales and networking. S1 - So if the product was right and you were not able to sell it then you were a failure in your startup. Me - Sir failure is a strong word, I'd say it was a setback or a mistake and I learned from my mistake and that's why I'm pursuing MBA. S1 - How will you compete with all these experienced people? Me - Sir if I can come this far competing with them, I think I can compete with them more. S1 - but till now it was analytical, what about experience Me - Sir maybe my experience with my startup will come in handy in competing with them. S1 - Okay write a code for me. (gave one code) Me - Gave the easiest solution. S1 - No this is not optimal, give me a equation. Me - asked for few seconds and then gave him an equation for it. S1 - Okay turn this solution into binary now. Me - *wasn't able to convert it* S1 - Okay how do you convert decimal into binary. Me - Told him that. S1 - Okay now just replace this converted value in your original equation and you have the answer. Me - Yes Sir, I made a silly mistake. S1 - Which all subjects did you study in your last semester? Me - Blockchain , Business Analytics. S1 - Okay what did you study in Business Analytics? Me - Told about statistics, normal distribution etc. S1 - No language? Me - Studied R programming. S1 - How did you implement it practically? Me - We didn't have a practical for that, theory only subject. S1 - Being a CSE student everytime is practical for you, what is needed to implement R. Me - CSV file S1 - CSV file and is it done? That is analytics for you? Me - Sir finding frutiful predictive patterns in the dataset is analytics. I studied market basket analysis, apriori algorithm etc but didn't implement it practically. S1 to A1 - Sorry Sir, I've taken a long time and didn't listen your bell, please carry on. A2 - Why is your graduation score so low? (My grad score is 82.1%) Me - Told about the accident I had in my first year because of which I missed internals and focussed on startup more in third year. A2 - So it was injury or startup? Me - Both. A2 - Do you think graduation are right way to judge people? Me - Yes Sir it is. A2 - Then with your graduation score, you're a failure in it Me - Sir failure is a strong word, my graduation score is low due to certain reasons otherwise it would be much more. A2 - So you should've focussed on your acads instead of startup. Me - Sir it exposed me to various fields outside my academics and is the reason why I'm doing MBA so I don't have any regrets about that. A2 - Okay List 5 things that are impacting the world right now. Me - CoronaVirus, Protectionism, Checkbook Journalism, Hate Speeches.... Sir do I have to mention only negative impacts? A2 - Just impacts Me - Then Sir 5th will definitely be AI and ML. A1 - Where are you from? Me - Gwalior. A1 - What is famous in gwalior? Me - Talked about scindias and gajak. A1 - Maine suna hai Gwalior me logg cycle pe ghumte chaaku aur bandooke chalate hai. Me - Sir can I answer this question in Hindi? A1 - Yes ofcourse. Me - (in a humble tone) Sir Gwalior hai kanpur nahi. A1 - *Started laughing* Kyu Kanpur me logg aisa karte hai kya? Chambal ke paas hai naa Gwalior Me - Sir I've heard a lot of rumours about Kanpur and it's a myth that in Gwalior something like that happens. You can't go out on streets without wearing a helmet, Carrying guns is a long shot I can assure you about that. S1 - Okay We're done now, do you have any questions for us?
