Today was my IIM K interview. Hardly lasted for 10 minutes. I am disappointed, did not go as per my expectations.
I worked as an entrepreneur during my college days(food stall start up) i planned to include this in my introduction part like tell me about yourself.so that i could move interview in this direction. So what should i do if they don't ask my intro part like tell me about your self and start asking some random question like any current affairs or other stuff .how should i drive my interview towards my startup ? @onepoorGem @arsene96 and others please help me

P1- you are a weird case Revanth? This is the first aspirant today I'm seeing that grades have increased over the course of engineering and not the other way.. Me- I realized it's not school to study hard for board exams at the last minute and get good grades after the first year. Hence started studying from thereon.. P2- what did u do in pragyan as the head of ORganising committee? Me - gave some standard answer P1 - how will u increase the footfall by 20 percent next year? Me - on foot publicity, campus ambassadors P2 - how to Target ppl other than clg students? Me - ask contacts from professor who might have the industry connect P1 - okay you have written something about repo rate.. what is the full form of it and explain? Me - I didn't know the full form but said what it means! P1 - whatever u said is funny and started laughing! Was smiling knowing that my interview is .... P2 - so why would rbi need gold reserve? ( I have mentioned that gold reserves are at a 10 year low in my wat) Me - it acts as a hedge if there is some down fall P2- laughed when I said gold reserves were 10 year low... Okk why only gold as hedge?. What is a hedge?Can wheat and rice whose price is stable can act as a hedge? Me - said what is hedge.. yes wheat can be a hedge P2- why MBA? Me - gave a completely unprepared ans.. P1 - what have u been doing in Wipro? Me - software development in a internal project P1 - since u said you are interested in share market does it mean you'll specialize in finance? Me - will look into various subject at first year and then decide.. but as of now it's finance P2 - who is the vertical head of tech bu in Wipro? Me - Idk.. but I know the vice president.. it's jayanta dey P1 - did u get civil by choice or chance in NITt Me - chance. P1- if you had choice what would it be? Me compsci P2 - you have been jumping all over the places.. civil, it, now finance in MBA.. Me - I didnt like the industry.. my skills doesn't align in the technical industry..Pg is something that will be my career for 40 years.. I wanted to do in the field which I like.. P1 - what if u don't like mba as well and you wanted to go to analytics! you are a risk for us.. and we need to hedge from guys like you! Me - gave some answer.. pretty much convinced.. P1 and P2 - one of us have been faculty advisor of pragyan 5 years ago and the other has worked in Wipro for 3 years!!Thanks for your time and all the best for other interviews. There were tofees but didn't ask me to take one๐ OA: it went pretty chill as compared to my previous guys who was grilled in mechanical subjects! With zero prep, I think I did my best.. write something which you can defend when asked in wat. When I checked the definition of repo rate.. it was exactly what I said?. They were laughing just to stress me!
