Me: I answered diplomatically ( Boon, as I was enjoying a hard-fought game of Cricket between India Vs NZ, so was kind of relaxed and a bane because I might not get enough time to convince the panelists about my candidature)

Me: Told him about exposure here and gave an example with my recent Paris visit

P2: (Smiled) So how do you use market dataÂ
P2: What if it is a new product and you don't have enough data
Me: We can use competitor's data as a proxy for market potentialÂ
P2: What is we do don't have a competitor and it is a new market
Me: We will look at the patient-level data and have to calculate market potential
P2: How would you set targets for a new Product?
Me: Told him that we can use Market Share as a metric. He looked convinced at last
P1: Do you love Maths?
Me: Yes
P1: He gave a cubic equation with four variables and told me to plot the graph? Consider all cases

Edit: Majors in Electronics and Instrumentation along with Minor in Finance. All the finance related questions were due to the minors and 6 month internship in an investment bank. Â

Anyone who got their interview venue/date changed for IIM rohtak? What reason did you give? My MDI and rohtak interview is on the same day. Rohtak refused to change the date.

How did you get position as management trainee ? Answered. I have an inclination towards finance I said. Told them about algorithmic trading. They asked Warren buffet or Rakesh jhunjhunwaala? I said they are long term investors and I day trade. Then asked about MF? I Told them about my portfolio of 4 MFs and how they have given me 12-13% profit. Done.
