1. First, you steal data from Public websites, or pay a third party company to give you data about people who didn't ofcourse agree to make it public but were tricked if at all legally by blindly clicking okay on Terms and conditions. (Market research and lead generation)
2. Then you call them/mail them trying to convince them to buy something they don't actually need. Now, you note the response, analyze with your team on what best to tell them. You are their lead or prospect.
3. You keep calling them every week until they buy or until they threaten to file a case against you. (Called touch base and follow up)
4. Your job security and pay depends on how many "bakras" you managed to make.
* Digital Marketing is even sneakier, based on your google search and ........ conversations, it invades your space on Instagram/Facebook with the most relevant ads you could possibly get*
Why do engineers (manufacturing especially) opt for operations management or atleast seems to be in interview? I am asking for help..not mocking here. Please give ur opinions.
It seems newer IIMs are doing better than their older counterparts. IIM Nagpur and Vizag have completed their summer placements before New IIMs like RRRUTK. IIM Nagpur moving to its own campus as well. Vizag too doing well on many fronts. Views?
I completed my graduation in June 2018(B.tech).Had no prior knowledge about cat at that time, joined T.I.M.E delhi in August and scored OA-83.83(80,80,81).
I knew, I could do better so decided to take one year drop.
Everything was going good,my mocks scores were increasing consistently.I was scoring 90+ percentile in AIMCATS in september,so I also bought IMS test series in mid-september and was giving my best in preparation and was hoping for atleast 98 percentile in cat. Then the Black Day arrives,on 12 October I had fever,I rushed to the doctor same day,as I did not want to get sick in the final lap. After a few testings he said it was just viral but things were getting worse every day and later in week after some testings I was diagonised with tuberclosis.
Had fever for approx. 50 days(3 times a day)
lost 13 kg in these 50 days
Was on bed rest, forget about studying I could not even sit for 1 hr.
Somehow manged to attempt CAT19 got OA-85(86,86,76).
Was depressed asf.
But somehow I recieved CAP calls(thank to that EWS thing) and now I am confused whether find a job and give CAT 2020 as my health is improving or should just focus on these calls and try to convert them(Chances are slim as my acad are below average,I mean really below).
Hey I'm preparing for CAT2020.
I've scored 10/ 12 (Commerce)/ Grad (BBA) - 93.1/ 85.1/ 76.38
I'm a NC-OBC female.
How much should I aim to score in sectionals and overall in CAT?
Also, how do b-schools assign score to academics?
Completed my grad in 2019 and thought about giving CAT in july. Started preparing for it in August and could see myself improving with every mock. Started with a 59%ile in CAT 18 (gave it without even knowing the exam pattern) and could see myself scoring around 95+ in mocks around October. Due to some shit that happened in my personal life i started slacking. I stopped studying for weeks as i was not in the right mental space. On D-Day i messed up VARC (was my strongest as i was scoring 99+ in every mock) and DILR (didn't expect much from it anyway). Scored an overall 91%ile and just have a call from IMT Ghaziabad. Should i just accept my fate and take imt ghaziabad if i convert it or should i wait for a year and give CAT 20?
Acads- 84/87/72 (Gen/Non-engg/Male)
Started as a rant kind of a thing and ended up asking a question.. Looking for some motivation as i don't know what to do next
