I had a discusstion with someone about the "Politician emotional appeal" question .. here is what that person says:
1. Yes, he is diverting the topic but what's the ultivmate motive? He specifically chosen ISIS but nothing else. He could have chosen number of other areas but he chose ISIS. Because people are afraid of ISIS and people don't like ISIS. The politician's aim is to appeal to the voter's emotions.
2. Don't look at this questoin from your perspective. Look at it from everyone's perspective i.e. just be objective. Politician's comments might not have affected you but doesn't mean they woun't affect anybody.
Any thoughts?

Hello everyone,
I graduated in 2017 and since then i've been in preparation for govt. services.A few months back some of my friends suggested to appear for CAT which i did with out even knowing what MBA is all about and so didn't even bother to prepare much for the exam.I didn't expect to score much but managed a 98+ percentile.Recently i got call from IIM-C to appear for interview. Meanwhile i got the results of my other exam and i am 100% sure that i am going to get through this time and the posting would most probably be in tax department.Firstly although i've learnt what MBA is all about and how it is best for me, i don't think i can justify the gap i am having in my career. So i am planning to work a few years in govt. sector and then go for MBA. Is it a good idea to do so or am i losing out on an opportunity i am not supposed to? because i heard that experience in govt. sector doesn't matter much in corporate interviews and having a gap of almost 3 years might prove very bad in placements at B-Schools. How true is this? Any suggestions are welcome.
IIM Ahmedabad last date to apply: 12 January 6:00PM. I was unaware of that and I filled the form on a later date. The link was still working. I have got an email from IIM Ahmedabad for interview in Delhi.
Secondly, I did not upload Character Certificate (I am in final year) as I do not have it yet (winter break) but will get it before interview.
Should I attend the interview or will they reject me for the above cited reasons?
