what do they mean by provisionally shortlisted
I just realised I've made a mistake in my CAT form and filled my nationality as Others. Will it have any impact?
In MDI-IM course, does one gets to convert the internship they do in Europe and get a chance to work there in the long run? If yes, is it for all students or for a few outliers ?

It's sad that the system is so screwed for GEMs. I don't know what to do. Even after scoring more than 99.6 you don't get a call from the big IIMs despite having great acads. It's sad that IIMs are rather filled by free loaders and dumb people (and they aren't mutually exclusive). I really feel there's no point in even giving cat when there's no hope (and mind you i have been carrying this hope for the past 2 years) but i guess it was too much for me. Nonetheless before I go i would like to thank @scrabber for his constant support and throwing puzzlers especially in the IMS groups. Kudos to all the "deserved" call getters. Hope you convert the call. For others Yippi-ki-yie. Hasta la vista. PS - nothing against EWS. That's the only kind of reservation that makes sense actually.
Guys, any body have info regarding the IIM C composite score cutoffs for General candidates.
I got 68.8 and still didn't get shortlisted.
For calculation of composite score, IIML has given me 0 marks for higher secondary marks. My XII percentage is 88% and as per their admission policy pdf, i should be awarded 4 marks. Did any of you understand why this happened? Whom can we contact for the same?
I have latest salary slip and work experience letter but the first payslip, what should I do now?

Long rant:
Been here for quite sometime now and looking at the scheme of things and seeing diversity getting the flak for no calls even at higher percentiles,
tryst me, diversity only helps if you're female, otherwise with all your academics and professional degrees yo've got nowhere to go if there is a single botch in X/XII or graduation. Redemption seems impossible thereon.
Of course there are better profiles than what I have but to get a perspective:
X: 91
XII: 91 (both Icse)
Grads: 62 (the big botch) (also there seems to be no normalisation of grad scores, so ...)
CA (no point of mentioning percentages, it's ....ing hard enough to just pass)
CAT: 98.71 (as mentioned pretty low compared to a lot of people who didn't get what they wanted/deserved)
work-ex: 9 months as per cat form
No A,C,L (A,B,C were always out at late 98s) also definitely no B and I
No profile based SP

Hi people, I have a query when filling IIM-K admission form I did my 10th in CBSE, which mandates percentage=CGPAx9.5, which means even with the best possible CGPA of 10, I get only 95%. But IIM-K seems to provide weightage based on percentage, so will it lead to a reduction in my overall scores in final interview? TIA.
