So guys,
I have made some observation regarding scaling occuring particularly for slot 1.
The scaling observed has been different for upscaling and downscaling.For upscaling a direct relation has been followed while for downscaling an inverse relationship has been followed.
Look at the image below which for 0 raw score(slot 1).
For score on zero(upscaling is 3.18)
Now,I personally know 2 people:
One has score of 47(upscaled to 49)
While one has score of 75(upscaled to 76.3-76.4)
But according to the formula given,the increase should be as a percentage of marks scored. This has been the case with downscaling(higher marks downscaled at higher score-DILR for Slot-1).
The same has been observed for VARC section as well i.e. negative relation.
Should this be a concern.I believe so.I want to know if this is the case every year and is it a gross mistake.
