Do freshers have a tougher time during the summer placements or do companies just look for academic scores and field of undergrad? In the Indian MBA scenario, is it advisable to get work ex before b school or does that make no difference at all? @mayur_arora @scrabbler
How difficult is to prepare for CAT alongside your work?, given one has already prepared well for year or so during their first attempt and did manage to get a good score. Is it advisable for a GEM candidate with good acads to get some workex to enhance chances of calls from IIM L and IIM B?
Hey "General" guys, if you're Male, a 98.5+ percentile is likely to get you a call from New IIMs, 99+ is likely to get you ILK (subject to good if not great academics), 99.5+ likely to get you ABC. Reduce above % by about 1-1.5 for Females.
Leaving that aside, do remember that irrespective of which IIM, you need "the same degree of "well preparedness" for any of these interviews. So focus on "getting ready for interviews" than worrying about who will call, who will not call.
