Success is no accident. It is an amalgamation of hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all passion.

All the very best for the CAT aspirants. Keep your focus and manage your time for CAT 2019 exam will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

To everyone who is giving the CAT 2019 remember these few points -

1] Reach the exam center atleast half an hour before your scheduled time. There is no harm in waiting rather than getting late.

2] Do keep all the ncessary materials such as you ID proofs alongwith photocopies of the same one day prior in your bag (atleast 2).

3] Tomorrow that is 22 would be the last time you would be studying for the exam. 23 should be kept completely free just relax yourself and don't get too stressed for the exam. The only thing you can do on 23 is go through your quants formulae (that too if you feel).

On the day of the exam -

1] Don't have something really heavy for the breakfast but don't go empty stomach as well since you would be needing a lot of energy.

2] Before going inside the exam center have some nice big chocolate such as Cadbury or preferably snickers since the sugar and calories would be needed during the exam.

3] You might start getting anxious or nervous in the period when you sit on the system and before the exam actually begins. Relax yourself, have some water and remember you have prepared a lot through the months. NOTHING CAN GO WRONG TODAY.

4] Once you begin the paper use the strategy you have set for yourself. DON'T I REPEAT DON'T TRY SOMETHING NEW DURING THE PAPER.

5] If you feel the paper is difficult think positively, it will be difficult for everyone hence the percentiles won't be affected.

6] After the completion of each section, take a 2 mins break. Have some water stretch your hands a bit. Trust me this works wonders in reducing stress.

7] Once the exam is over, there is no need to come out and discuss paper. It's gone and you gave it all you had. Discussing the right and wrong ones will just create additional stress.

Lastly, two most important points.

To all those who still feel we are not prepared remember the highest score you attained in your mocks. Be it any mock. The performance you gave there is what you just need to replicate here.

And again no need to get stressed because it is CAT. Remember you have given tons of exams in your life. This is just one of them.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. ALL THE VERY BEST AND YOU ARE SURE TO GET TOP NOTCH SCORES !!!

Reposting my brief article from last year.

Finally, the D-Day is here.

The day that will be the culmination of all the effort put through those late nights and early mornings. Its the day you have been waiting for since the past year, or maybe more. I know you'll all make sure it's worth the wait.

A few pointers, in case you find it useful:

1. MOST IMPORTANT: Please please make sure that you are well rested. It sounds easy, but trust me, many of you won't be able to sleep  the night before. Happened with me. And a lot of others. I wasn't able to sleep for a minute before the exam. Trust me when I say this, your mind will be cluttered with thousands of thoughts on the night before exam. You'll have to make sure you get ample sleep.

2. ‎The hardest part of the preparation is over. Believe me, you couldn't have been better prepared, contrary to what most of you may be thinking right now. You may choose to chill or to revise some basic formulae tomorrow. Totally up to you. Just do whatever your gut tells you to do.

3. ‎A lot of you might be thinking of giving up right now and trying again next year. I would quote someone for you: "You have not come this far to come only this far". Attitude is what matters right now.

4. ‎There might be many instances during the exam when you may feel like giving up. DO NOT GIVE UP. I repeat, DO NOT GIVE UP.!! Trust me, CAT gives you atleast 2-3 attempts to make a comeback. The battle is actually not lost till you leave that room after 3 hours. My strongest section, VA was bombed terribly as I was sleep deprived. But I somehow managed to perform decently in the other 2 sections.

5. Lastly, just keep in mind the reason why you embarked upon this journey. Keep it in mind always. It will give you that extra push that you will definitely need in the exam. If you are feeling short on motivation, you might watch a short youtube video: Time for War

ALL THE BEST CHAMPIONS.!!

GIVE IT ALL YOU HAVE.!!

Trust me, you'll be glad you embarked on this journey.

Waiting for you on the other side...
