Weird SIMCAT RC issue: termshexis, andethos, theirhexeis, Anethos. If you've encountered these terms and are wondering what they mean, you aren't alone. The past 3 SIMCATs, in some of the RCs, these words (and many others) appeared; only they shouldn't have. For there should've been a space separating the two words in each of the pairs. Okay, not a big issue now but it is expected from institutes to not make these kinds of cardinal mistakes at all. Plus, during exam time this'll really irritate the heck out of anyone for they'll have to re-read the sentence(s) and the flow will get disturbed.
If I am the only one facing this issue, my bad. I guess I'm the unlucky one. If not, Please write back to IMS team informing them about this. Below is a screenshot from one of the RCs in SIMCAT 11.

What is the best way to study VARC?? Any videos or sites would be helpful... (Special emphasis on questions other than rc) TIA!
As someone who was struggling with the DILR section last year, I have a piece of advice for puys/pirls in the same scenario this year.
1) Accept that no one, (including you) can solve all the 8 sets within 60 minutes. Stop approaching the mock tests with this attitude. It took me a lot of effort to get rid of this attitude.
2) If, before the start of the section someone told you the difficulty levels of all the 8 sets, you would ace the section. Unfortunately, since it is unlikely to happen, YOU have to PRACTICE figuring out the difficulty levels of the 8 sets in the first 3-5 minutes of the section time.
Trust me, it isn't an easy thing to do. If you haven't started practicing this yet, start right away from the very next mock. Make it a habit before the D-day!
3) During the actual exam, even if you can judge the difficulty level with a 90% accuracy within the first 3-4 minutes, you're ahead of 80% of the candidates.
4) As cliched it might sound, practice as many DILR sectional tests (preferably from TIME/IMS) as you can get your hands on. You need to be acquainted with every possible situation before the D-day! E.g- You mistakenly start with a difficult set and spend 20-25 minutes of your time without solving anything. You realize you've missed an easy set/question in the last 2 minutes! You did a silly mistake and need to re-do some tables.
5) A general piece of advice that worked for me: In the last week before CAT, write your mocks in the same slot as your actual exam. Help your mind and body to adapt and prepare for the D-day.
