Those who want to apply for BSNL JTO in ASSAM,NE-1,NE-2. Please go thorugh below pros and cons.
I am from Delhi and I have done my B.Tech NITS Assam. These are my observations.
Pros:
1. Weather is very good. You will like it.2. People are friendly.3. People are helpfull .4. Food is good for Non-Veg. Although Veg is also good.
Cons:
1. Frequesnt Militants attack in North east. More number of Militants group like ULFA,NDFB in NE.You can type Bomb blast in Assam in Google. You will see many attack within 3 yrs.Here is the lasted blast reported by The Hindu: http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/other-states/Serial-blasts-rock-Assam-on-Republic-Day/article17096598.ece
2. Very few people know Hindi so they prefer to speak their mother language.As you will be posted in Rural area, you may have to face language problem.
3. Serial attack on outsider by the Native people because of some outsider created some issue in Assam.https://scroll.in/article/831368/a-recent-attack-on-assams-all-powerful-students-group-could-be-a-sign-of-more-trouble-ahead
4. If you are posted in Tribe area then you may face serious problem. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Assam_violence5. Travelling is one of the major issue.
Although above these cons, people living there are very much happy, helpful and you will enjoy living with them but you can't igone the above cons too.Communication with rest of the India is very much problem.
Please decide your own choice. Above jobs and career, you should feel happy living your life there.
These are my observation and if you think i have put wrong observation then feel free to correct me.
guys a lot of polling is there but they r misleading everyone and they wont provide clear picture of competition so never trust them. its few people who r enjoying themselves by these pranks, try to ask a experienced person(which i am not). these guys r trying to create a confusion with these things.

With 24.08 From ece gate, which circle should i opt for bsnl jto, despite knowing the chances of getting selected is very much least. Is there anyone to suggest me??

guys I wanna suggest something here. I don't blame any1, but I wanna ask the applicants to just go for the circle for bsnl JTO in which u think u have the best chance. Think urself, don't get carried away by suggestions. otherwise, at last in some circle people with 2k-3k rank will get selected and in some circle even 500 rankers won't get it.
