Subject - (Advt no. - 02/2017) Allowing of scientific (non programmable) calculator in BPSC AE MAINS CONVENTIONAL. Sir/ Ma'am It's a humble request to allow scientific calculator in AE CIVIL MAINS exam because in the absence of scientific calculator we won't be able to solve problems which includes log, e, sin, cos etc values. Moreover in most of the cases the numerical problems involve quadratic equations or the powers are in the form of 2/5, 1/3, etc. Such problems require scientific calculator and can't be solved on simple calculator. In all the state engineering and ESE non programmable calculators are allowed so kindly look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.
