thanks harish. i just wanted to know the time frame. and the indian post website takes around a week to update the status of the delivery.

Hey guys..There is a shortage of forms everywhere. I just got SCMHRD prospectus. I was not able to get SIBM prospectus by any means. Is there any plan to extend the sale date ? And what is the time by which it will close today if I ask someone to go down SIBM ??
Please help me out.

I didn't get any preference sheet with my form, so I didn't give any preference when I sent the form. So am I eligible for both pune and bangalore, or just pune alone?

hi all,

4 those hu cud not get SIBM and SCMHRD forms in hyd, there are a few forms available with IMS hyd (Ph: 66669333).... for both SIBM and SCMHRD... u can even get it thru Corporation Bank branches.
I wud advise u 2 get it asap as I saw 5-6 forms being sold in frnt of me in a matter of few minutes, ala hot cakes

Wen I called up SIBM, they told me dat if u cant get it thru IMS or corp Bank, then there wud b only 1 last option, of askin any relative or frnd to get the form from the institutes in Pune or Bangalore.

He even told me dat, the last date cud b extended by one day (in extreme cases... dunno wat this means tho)....

If you've preserved the white envelope the prospectus came in, you'll find a sticker on the rear, with a 5 digit number. That's your application form number.

I got a mail saying that I need to mention my preferences for pune/banglore campus on the preference sheet and in case I dont have that, I was supposed to write that on the form...I haven't done either.Unfortunately, I got the mail after I sent the application to SIBM...wat do I do now???

i have sent a copy of my admit card and a sheet mentioning my preference since i dint get any special sheet or any special prefrence form or something of that sort. NOw can anybody tell me what i have sent is fine?....and also where do we check our status of our sibm application..........

Even i forgot 2 send the Campus Preference Sheet along with my application form.
So ive written an email to [email protected] stating the error and my choice alongwith my application form number.

Since SIBM form was not available at my place , I have asked my friend in Pune to purchase one for me. Now I wish to confirm the documents that I need to send along with the form so that I can scan the documents and send them to him. Can anybody pls help me with the checklist for SIBM form?

I sent the snap admit card photocopy, the application form along with a preference sheet..
Nothing else. still, if u wnt, u cn cnfrm frm som othr source..

they did'nt ask for it.. Also, if u belong to a category other than General then u need to send the relevant certificate..
I insist ur asking some one else too..

what u've sent is absolutely fine...n abt d application status...only the SIBM guys could tell u!!!

Checklist for SIBM form:
1)SIBM form with a photograph pasted on it(\
2)Preference form(for those who haven't got the preference form along wid d prospectus, they can just write their preference on a plain sheet of paper along wid their name,addr,snap id,telephone no n signature)
3)Copy of SNAP admit card(not necesarry...but just in case)

on Monday(31st dec 2007) i checked my form status on the SIBM website and it was showing that my form has reached but the Preference form status was missing as i have not sent any Preference as i was not aware about it.
so i downloaded the Preference form from the SIBM website and sent it to the required e-mail id.
today(thursday, 3rd january 200 when i was again checking the website for the status,using the same SNAP id which i had earlier used for getting my form status, it shows that either my form has not reached SIBM office or my SNAP ID or SNAP APPLICATIN NUMBER is wrong.
this is weird, has anybody faced the same problem or can anybody have any explanation of this?
do post your replies asap.
