Guys I ve found many of you worrying about your failure to attach a copy of your SNAP admit card..

That's nothing to worry about. As you don't have to send it at all..

I called SIBM today to confirm. Only the application form and the preference sheet is required. So cheer up!!

Admissions@SIBM Says
You can send it now & hope for the best.


Director i saying that I should send it now & since you spoke with SIBM people they are saying, there's no need for it....

Hi Sir,
Its is specified in the prospectus that if work-ex is more than 30 we get a full weightage and if its less than 30 & greater than 12 are are awarded a weightage of 5.
I dont find it convincing coz a person with 29months of work ex and a person with 13 months of work ex will be given the same weightage.It would have been better if there were smaller slots of weightage.
Similarly in case of academics..a person with 79% is given same weightage as a person with 66%
please clarify...

Also pls let me know the month till which i need to consider my work ex.. is it 31st Dec'07 or march'08

Well i have exactly the same problem as you have...

as far as work ex is concernerd it is to be considered up to 31st dec.

i have got 79.6 in CBSE XII .... bt will get only 2 marks 😞

I forgot to attach the preference sheet with my form while sending it. Can i e mail my preference or i will have to post it separately to SIBM authorities.

If you can please give some idea about what % weightage SIBM gives to Written score,acads,workex,GD & PI. Is written score given 80% weightage.

Respected Sir,
I have made some minor typing errors in my SNAP application form. Will this cause any problems during the admission process. Should I inform the concerned authorities about these mistakes beforehand either via phone or during the GD/PI process?

Sir,

I didn't get my application form so I had mailed SIBM . I got a mail in reply from Rahul(someone from SIBM) with 3 attached application forms . Shall I fill those forms and send them to SIBM.
Will they be accepted

To which address should I mail the filled in forms.

1) Is snap registration number is same as snap id??
we r asked to write snap registration number on the preferance sheet.

2) I donot have snap registration form. Can i send snap sdmit card instead??

Sir,
We are required to get the form signed by our parent. I am working away from my home town and i bought the form yesterday. Is it compulsory to have the parent's signature or this can be done at a later stage?

Snap registeration no. and snap id are the same..you have to send the snap regisrtaion no..using which you log in at the snap site...

I can't see it mentioned anywhere in the brochure that we need to send a copy of snap hall-ticket/registration form along with the form. But still I see some guys here worried about this and the admissions officer saying "you can send it now and hope for the best".
What's going on!!!

I also see people asking questions on sending snap admit card/ graduation certificate and stuff along with teh form. Can anybody let me know what and all i have to attach and send(if any) along with the application form ?

Fast responses would be real helpful as i ll ve to post the form tomorrow

i guess prospectus and "information brochure" are the same thing(i too only got the prospectus )....secondly as has been discussed in the posts before, u only need to send the preference form (indicating what would u prefer to join - SIBM Pune or SIBM Banglore if/when u finally get selected) and a copy of ur admit card along with the SIBM form.......the preference form is mandatory along wid d SIBM form and also send in the copy of admit card to be on d safe sde....hope ur queries solved:)

hi....seems u missed it,the brochure/prospectus does say that u should send a copy of Reg form wid SIBM form however as has been clarified before,its not mandatory and you can just send a copy of admit card along wid SIBM form and the preference form:)

We have received numerous different views on sending a copy of the admit card. Could you clarify it once and for all. I sent my form today without a copy. What should people like me do. Can we send an e-mail with a scanned copy of the admit card? Is that enough, or another letter with a scanned copy and the relevant applicant details? Is it necessary.
