I have a few queries regarding the filling up of the SIBM app. form. I bothered checking the thread but i couldn't find many answers... Please forgive in case the similar queries have been answered already...
1. Total Working Experience (in months): Experience as on which date????
2. Are we suppose to fill anything in the Stream/Faculty column for 10th Std.? Is it ok to leave it blank??
3. Whats with the sending of SNAP admit card xerox copy along with the app. form to SIBM??
Hope to get a quick reply.. Thanks a ton in advance.
PS: Just went thru the other SIBM thread... Query 1 stands answered.. December 31st 07 it is...

While sending the SIBM form, for open category, do we have to attach a copy of the SNAP registration form along with it or is it only meant for reserved category.

sir,
My SIBM brochure does not contain a preference form? will my application form be rejected ? i cannot even get the form replaced as i have already filled it up..what should i do?
also, regarding the graduation percentage .since i am still in my final year of B.Tech i have filled in the aggregate percentage ( CGPA to be exact) of the 7 semesters.will that be okay?
please reply asap.

Hello Sir,

In the application form under Employment Experience its written "Mention details starting from present employment backwards";I am a bit confused what does that mean.Since currently where I am working is my second organization, so that should come first or my previous organization experience should come first?
And also there we have been asked to mention the contact no....so which contact no. its talking abt?
Please advice.

Along with my form I have sent a preferene sheet (on a plain paper) which states as-

Both Pune & Bangalore Campus
(1st preference - Pune)
(2nd perfrence- Bangalore)

but when I checked the status of my form which states as-

MBA Form Result 2007Name :AMIT JAINAcknowledgement No. :2336SNAP No. :799792FORM No. :56820Category :OPENCampus Preference :PUNEForm Status :Submitted



Does that mean that I will be considered only for Pune Campus. If yes then can I give a request to the concerned department to consider me for both the campus and also please let me know the contact numbers and email id of the concerned department.

Sir,

The break up for the final selection as given in the brochure says that weightage of written score is 30, acads -10, work ex -10,gd and group task -50 and interview -50.

While giving out gd/pi calls, will SIBM consider only the 30 point wriiten score or will it based on 50 point score ( 30 written + 10 acads + 10 work ex) ?

I have a query regarding the Preference we need to give ...
If i give preference for Pune campus then won't i be cosidered for bangalore campus
or if i select both then will the campus allocation be done randomly ??????

Whats the actual purpose for taking this preference from candidates?????

dear sir,
i've a query as under:
1) while filling in the SNAP REGISTRATION FORM i'd entered only the final year graduation marks,complying with the mumbai university norm.however, i believe sibm asks for the aggregate of all the 3 years. may i make the requisite changes in the SIBM APPLICATION FORM?
2) while filling in the SNAP REGISTRATION FORM i'd not mentioned the post graduate marks as i was not in possession of the final sem marks. may i now enter the aggregate in the SIMB APPLICATION FORM?

You have to enter the experience starting from your current job and going backwards. The contact number will be of the company.

My college, NIT Durgapur, evaluates according to the semester system and awards marks in terms of CGPA.
I am a student of final year, Computer Science and engineering. Sir, how should I fill up the space for graduation marks given in the application form?
There is no mode of converting the CGPA into percentage according to out college.
Also, Should I fill up the intermediate CGPA obtained by me so far (till 6th semester)?

I have problem regarding the filling up of personal details in the OMR ,
i have entered my full name ( including my last name i.e Mithun Kumar ) , but my admit doesn't consist my last name ( Kumar) ( as it was mentioned that to enter your name as mentioned in the admit card ) . so will there be any problem regarding my name, i have entered the ID and the first name correct .. which are mandatory .. i made mistake and i was advised by the invigilator , not to scratch it :sad:.

Hi Sir,

Keeping in mind the sectional cutoffs, I've tried my best attempting all the sections, but could attempt only very few overall, around 70, with almost full accuracy I'm sure (score 80+) 😃 But I feel there is a certain grey area in the concept of sectional cut-offs as each individual has his areas of strengths and weaknesses. And also if the focus is on clearing sectionals, the overall will be lower, I only hope the cutoffs will be looked at on an overall
performance level.

Also is SIBM Pune moving to Lavale this year? And in Bangalore, do we have the option of staying in our own accomodation nearby? Even the famed Pune campus till now had that option and I feel it is much better.
