We should not compare the two; both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to say LPU is best because in India LPU is one of best private university. Its ranking, placement, education, infrastructure and diversity make this university one of a kind.
Ranking: - LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and Government University. This Dear year what shook me the most is the resent ranking by the world’s university ranking again amongst all government and private university.
In lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.tech , the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university.
There is green areas in the university at so many different departments in the campus, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel.
Professors are well educated most of them are ph.d ,m.phill or masters in specific subject.

Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test, popularly known as LPUNEST, is an online proctored test conducted by LPU. LPUNEST is an entrance as well as a scholarship test conducted in online mode for admission to the LPU UG and PG courses like MBA, B.Tech, BBA, etc.

LPUNEST Exam Pattern 2024

The duration of the LPUNEST exam is 2 Hours and 30 Minutes with a total of 120 MCQs. According to the LPUNEST Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024, there will be 4 sections viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English with the given marking scheme:

  • 4 Marks will be awarded for PCM/B sections for each correct answer.
  • 2 Marks will be awarded for the English section for each correct answer.
  • There is No Negative Marking in LPUNEST.

The cost of the LPUNEST Kit is as follows:

  • A soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit can be downloaded online and its cost is INR 1000 (for Boys) and INR 500 (for Girls).

Yes can take admission in courses where LPUNEST is not part of eligibility but in certain courses like Engineering, Agriculture LPUNEST or JEE is mandatory, which will not only make you eligible for taking admission in LPU but you’ll also be able to avail various scholarship benefits based on your performance in LPUNEST.But for other bachelor courses, you can take direct admission if you pass the basic criteria specific to that course like 50% in 12th with the required subjects.
