I am a civil engineering graduate. I passed out in 2008. After working for 2.5 years, I did my MBA in Marketing and Operations from a TIER-2 B school. I was an intern at Deloitte Consulting and then started working for India's largest software services company as a Business Consultant. I have been working for 2 years now. I wanted to do an MS in MIS or Supply Chain Management.
Would there be problems in getting admissions as I already have an MBA? How do I get to know which colleges offer funding for my MS or my specific MS.
Hiii Is it possible to prepare for CAT and gmat simultaneously ? I gave a paas to IIM Kozhikode, Indore and nitie this year. Now I'm thinking of applying to isb before October to be considered for 100% tuition waiver. I have IIM abcl and fms in my mind when it comes to CAT. So is there a way to prepare both ? And if yes, then what should the best approach and the online classes that can help me with that. Thanks
Hello Everyone,
First my Profile
X- 86%, Xll- 85%
MS(Integrated from VIT, Vellore)- 8.24 CGPA
Started working in Jan 2014, for approx 10 months worked as a script writer/standup comic and marketing manager for an online entertainment platform, after that switched to marketing completely and have headed the marketing teams of two funded foodtech companies based in gurgaon, have an approx experience of 2.5 years and till the time of joining in jan 2017 onward will have 3+ years of experience. Moreover I joined these companies at the very early stages and through my efforts ensured growth( My linkedin profile for reference :-
Extra Co-Curricular- Have done standup comedy, organised college's fest, was a part of other college level chapters and ran college's most popular blog(22k followers) also worked for a couple of online magazines
Social :- Was a part of Robin Hood Army and on weekends did my bit for the poor, helped the not so privileged get food from local restaurants. Organised event in college and collected Rs. 25 lakhs for the uttrakhand flood victims.
Now my doubts:-
Planning to give GMAT in august/september and apply to some top B-Schools in US and Singapore. Not sure what will be a good GMAT score? Is my profile good enough? Although I have studied Software engineering for 5 years, but I have nothing to show off, was always busy doing extra co-curricular in college, but have done that a lot, what i have mentioned above are just some significant things that I did? What are the B-schools in which I have a realistic chance. If your answer is get 750+, then please also tell me which schools I will get if I get a 700 score. Also, is it worth to spend a crore and get a MBA degree from abroad, whats the ROI like in the current market scenario?
Secondly, if I get something close to 680, will I be able to make it to SP JAIN or something?
What about Nanyang Business School? Placements?
My reason for doing MBA is:- I feel after working that there is still a lot to learn and its really important to get an MBA degree in order to get position of responsibility and accountability, people don't trust you otherwise. And obviously I want career growth as well.
I know I have asked a lot of questions, but I am hoping someone will be kind enough to answer them all.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have a total experience of 3+ years with India's top IT company. I want to write GMAT exam this year so that I can pursue executive MBA next coming year from US. I have following queries, I would be glad to receive your inputs on the same.
When will it be suitable for me to take the GMAT exam, I am planning to schedule in December? Last year I had written CAT so my basics are fine.
How should I prepare?
Which online material should i choose for preparation?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I have been preparing for CAT since 1 year and ended up being wait-listed for NMIMS Mumbai and SIBM Pune.
I have a total experience of 3 years in an IT company. Currently I have quit my job and scheduled my GRE and TOEFL exam next week and looking for full time MBA via GRE score. I am expecting a score around 320. Will this be good enough or should I write GMAT as well? If yes, then in which month?
I would be glad to receive your inputs on the same.
Thanks in advance.
I have no clue about GMAT GRE and the colleges covered and how to go by it, could somebody give me a guidance session?
I'm currently preparing for CAT and am in my pre final year in law school.
Hi I want to prepare for GRE and want to give exam this October. Currently I am working in a IT company.Which study material should I follow....like there are many in market Magoosh,Time etc. Thanks in advance
Does anyone have the pdf file for Reading Comprehension by Aristotle?
Hi ,
My Profile:
Work Exp : 4 years in Automobile R&D
B.E.(Mech) : 8.64 CGPA
XII - 92.25% , X - 88.63%
I would like to get into ISB / IIM- B .Since from this year onwards both these colleges accept GRE , i am planning to take up GRE and apply for the intake of 2017. What score should I eye in for ? Does a score close to 320 be sufficient in addition to my work exp. ?
My Reason for doing MBA : I would like to excel in the area of Product Planning and Strategy decisions. Being involved in Product development , I would like to take up responsibilities and be accountable for the decisions to bring out the products in the market upon thorough research. I feel that an MBA would equip me in taking confident decisions and would sharpen my planning skills.
How good do I stand a chance to get into these profiles with my current work experience , and also being slightly diversified from the guys entering into ISB/IIM - B PGPX rather than from IT field ?
Thanks in advance
Does anyone have any online material (links/pdfs) to practice SC, CR and RCs from?
