I have a one year gap during engineering. I was looking forward to take GMAT in the coming few months and move to the US for MBA. What are my chances of getting a good college and getting placed in US eventually?

B.Tech - 73.3%
Work EX: ~3 (2.9) years in IT (OSS/BSS Mobility profile)
1 year Gap between B.Tech and Job.
Extracurricular:
Nothing significant. But, In college and my company, I used to, and I do various cover designing activities for magazines, poster designing for company events, making certificates etc.
Does being a member of Toastmaster helps anything ?
Query:
I have attempted CAT 3 times, but got 80-90%ile only.
I want to do MBA next year. So, I've scheduled my GMAT exam for 8th May 2016, and I'm eyeing for an MBA in India only.
In terms of GMAT preparation it's going fine.
My query is what all colleges am I eligible to apply for ? I was seeing Top Indian B schools which accepts scores through GMAT but mostly it's mentioned work ex required is 5+ years(except ISB). So, considering my work ex, what are the good(top) Indian B schools? And how do I work on improving my profile

Is scoring a GMAT 650+ easier than CAT 95+ ?
I am currently working with TCS (Regular 10am-7pm job) and will not be able to put the required efforts for CAT 2016. Gave MH-CET 2015 with 90%. Quite comfortable with Basic quant. Need to work a lot on verbal side. Will I score 650+ in July/Aug if I start working on verbal now?

Selected for universal football team.. Joined symbiosis for mba but left after one year as I felt I was lacking work ex.. Have calls from IIM Kozhikode Indore nitie fms and IIT Bombay this year but want to prepare for the worst.... And I'm targeting IIM's and isb Hyderabad.. I am working in IBM with 2+ years of experience. Looking for 1 year mba programs with good placements scope. I know GMAT is the option, but in a doubt.. is it a right time to persue Executive or any one year mba from good institute (indian b schools). Or should I wait for couple of more years.
Secondary, I m very much reluctant to invest tons of money until justifiable.
