10th (CBSE, 2002) - 91.2%

12th (CBSE,2004) - 91.4%

Engineering- (B.E- Mechanical,2008) - 82.84% (college highest being 84.86%)

Work Ex: Working with M/s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, A Navratna PSU Under MOS- for past 5.5 years in the area of project/ construction management- Coordinating between consultant and consortium partners, Involved in Site execution as per contract agreement, dealing with

design issues, day to day planning & scheduling of project activities, monitoring of the targets and ensuring milestone achievement and solving IR related issues and ensuring safe work practice at site.

Awards and Extra Curricular activities:

- Prefect coordinator at School level - looking after allocation & management of prefect classwise.

- Got felicitated for securing more than 90% marks in class 12th by Late Sri Sunil dutt at talkatora stadium, Delhi

- Got state rank of 47 in Engineering Entrance exams.

- Participated in robotics event at college level.

- Won Mr Engineer organised for final year students of the college (strength of 1000 students)

- Won many other competitions at school& collegelevel.

- Involved in CSR activities of the Company.

- Active member of a special school for disabled ( School sponsored by Organisation under CSR Scheme)- Involved in monthly activity of school like Organising walk, mela and campaigns to market product made by disbaled children to give them a socially acceptable platform.

Please guide me and tell what should i add more to my profile and what should be decent score to secure a seat....!!

Can i make it to the ISB/IIMC/IIMB with a GMAT Score. What should be a decent score? Any other college abroad should i target considering my work ex?

i am working in a public sector bank as assitant manager with a current work exp of 2 years.
my gre scores are va-160, qa-162 awa: 5
do top us b-schools accept GRE ?
also my profile is as follows:
10th-76%
12th- 80%
btech-69%
jaiib, caiib certifications( do these matter?)
i grew up in dubai and came to india for my college education.
i have been involved in various associations in college such as the womens forum
took part in several qiuzes, sports, dramas , olympiads and indian consulates comeptitions.
i also got the opportunity to coach several girls for the kendriya vidhyalaya exam successfully.
currently i'm preparing for cfa level1
can you suggest top b-schools i can apply to and evaluate my profile?

Bachelor of Engineering (IT) from MDU university- 78%

Currently working as a Software Engineer at Wipro (3.5 years experience till date).

Accolades from clients and manager, but No promotion as of yet.

Extra Curriculars : Represented my company at a basketball tournament. Associated with NGO for the past 3 years. Did an internship with NGO.

GMAT- 690 (5th attempt) AWA :6 IR:8. Yes i got the score in 5th attempt and this is a big red mark on my profile.

GMAT 1- 550 AWA 5.5

GMAT 2- 600 AWA 6

GMAT 3- 620 AWA 6

GMAT 4- 660 (q 49, v 34) AWA 6

GMAT 5- 690 (q 48, v 36) -->Latest

Need profile evaluation and some tips for improvement, thanks for the comments 😃

1) GMAT SCORE - 720 , AWA 5, IR - 8
2) 4 years of work experience in IT Quality Assurance with Amdocs DVCI. Currently leading a team of 3-4 resources from offshore, 2-3 from Mexico and 1-2 from US on a rolling basis based on the scope and budget.
3) 2.5 months of International experience in Mexico where I was involved with the Nearshore team setup from scratch.
4) 10th 93%, 0.1 % Merit certificate for scoring 100/100 in Maths. School topper in a batch of 200 students. 12th 89% , School Topper in a batch of 150 students. State rank of 252 and AIR of 253 in CET for Engineering admissions.
5) CGPA of 3.6. BE in Computer Science from PICT, University of Pune.
6)ECs - CSR community member in Amdocs, blog occasionally , avid Football fan, organised a number of events at work.

Targeting US bschools for Fall 2015 (Top 15 - Top 35) , Schulich, Ivey, NUS , Nanyang and ISB . Also will not be able to pursue the US MBA program in case I do not have substantial scholarship. My maximum MBA budget is 35-40 lakhs.

Hi,

I will complete 2 Years of my work experience in July 2014 after my B.tech .

15 months in IT and currently working in an Investment bank. I have cleared CFA- Level 1 also.

I want to go form an MBA with majors in Finance or MS- Finance from abroad.

Should I study and write CAT in 2014 or should I go for GMAT because when and if I am able to clear CAT and join the college my Work Experience would be of 3 years .

Is it advisable to join any IIM or good Indian MBA college after 3 years of Work Experience .?

Also I need to think about the ROI if I go for GMAT and join any MBA college in abroad though if I give GMAT ISB would be my 1st preference .

Please advice .!

Hi, I will complete 3 Years work experience (Infosys & L&T; Infotech) in IT Industry in August 2014, 12th: 82%, 10th 88.4% and B.Tech CGPA 7.0. Have excellent extra curricular activities record during school, college as well during my job. Have even got couple of awards for initiatives at Infosys as well as couple of performance related awards in projects. Earlier i was planning MBA abroad so started studying for GMAT but now i guess i will not be to afford MBA abroad so want to target schools in India after giving GMAT. At this point i have just planned to give my GMAT exam by August but not sure about colleges. Any guidance after seeing my profile will be appreciated.

Hi, I scored 690 in GMAT (V:33 Q:50 IR:6 AWA: 5). Have done BTech(8.59 CGPA) and my academics are: 10th (91 %) and 12th( 79 %). I have 3 years of experience in IT(banking software product development) to-date. Targeting admission for Fall '15. Primarily looking for US colleges, what colleges should i apply to? I am Flexible in career avenues after MBA, though a little inclined to IT sector especially product based. Also, how much chance do i stand for the scholarship?

Hi!

I am a PhD aspirant planning to apply in 2015. I need to sit for GRE and get a good score in quant. I am from guwahati and want some expert advice on the coaching. There is Princeton in guwahati but students are very less. Some people suggest me to take up the coaching in guwahati and others in Delhi. Kindly simplify this for me as I am confused what is best for my exam preparation.
