This is Ravindra Mittal, an executive 1 year full time MBA aspirant. I want to do MBA from a good B school preferably from India or Asia. I want to know when is the best time to appear for GMAT and start applying for B Schools. Can it be possible to grab a decent job in India after doing MBA from out of India. My profile is given below: -

1) 3 year 2 months work ex in One of the leading IT product based MNC.
2) Xth:- 65.80%
3) XII:- 66.00
4) Btech (Computer Science):- 70.00 %
5) 2-3 recognition awards in work life.
6) Certificates in extracurricular activities in academic life.
7) Client interaction with people from other nationalities.
8) Driven and owned 2-3 modules in my team.
9) Initiated 2-3 process for best practices to follow and improving on leadership skills.

I want to know what will be total work ex required to apply for a good bschool. Can we get a good ROI in India after investing much on MBA out of India. What will be the decent average Gmat score to apply for a B school. What is the time duration for the Course structure. I'll preferably follow 1 year full ti me course.

I'm a final year student pursuing B.com (Hons.) from D.u. I will complete my grad in may '14. I have no work experience and have completed 15 years of education. I plan to take the Gmat test in june'14.
I scored the following % in :
10th- 83%
12th- 92%
grad- 70% (approx.)

please tell me what are the options available and what should my modus operandi be.

My name is Faraz. I live in Delhi, India and I am very much interested to create more opportunities for an enhanced career path by doing a full time MBA program and i have started to work hard to prepare for the GMAT and i am looking to join an institute to help me in the preparation. I have around 3 years of work experience in customer service and sales and around 1 year as operations manager.My concern is whether i would be able to get admission in a good B-school in U.S ? I have done graduation(BCA) from CMJ University (Meghalaya,India) from distance learning. Recently, this university has been going under controversies about issuing fake degrees to some students and is now blacklisted in some places. My BCA session was 2010-2012 and high court of India did issue a notice that only degrees issued in or after the year 2013 will be invalid. So what i want to ask is whether my BCA degree will considered valid according to school for taking admission.I have attached my resume, Looking forward to hear from you.

Could you please evaluate my profile for 1 year MBA (India and Abroad). Thanks in advance. I am targeting for 2015.

Currently I am in USA for last 5 years. I want to pursue an MBA that will help me come out my professional stagnancy and help me grow in my career. With a 10+ IT background, I would prefer to be pursue an MBA in Strategy/General Management/consulting.

I am interested in doing a MBA from any of the good US universities. I have 5 years of work experience as Pre Sales in Telecom MNC.
I am yet to start taking my GMAT exam,the only deterrent in me doing that is the cost associated with doing the MBA? Will i be able to secure a good school and job after doing the same?

i am planning to give GMAT this year. I wanted to know about dates that are feasible for applying to ISB so that i can schedule my GMAT exam accordingly. I did try to contact ISB regarding appropriate dates for admission for the year 2015-16, but no satisfactory response was given from their side. I will be giving CAT and other entrance exams too hence i don't want GMAT to clash with others. Can somebody help me out regarding scheduling a proper date for GMAT so as to apply for ISB?

I'm a software developer working for a company called Gravitas with over 5 years of experience.I have previously worked for mid sized IT companies, as well as for a start up, but no big names on my resume. I have previously worked in portugal as an intern through AIESEC for a year. I completed my GMAT last year and got a 700, q:47 v:38. I got only a 3.5 in AWA and a 2 in IR (Gave it the first month of the new GMAT.)
I have done my engineering from Mumbai University with an aggregate of 55% and final year % of 61%.

I am keen on applying for an MBA program to some of the better tech oriented MBA programs, anywhere in the world.(geography is not a constraint). could someone tell me which schools would be suitable for my profile. Also , after an MBA what kind of job profiles could someone from IT expect after an MBA. I'm guessing more of project management and consulting, but I'm not sure.

Also would it be a good idea to try to give the GMAT again ? I havent taken any tuitions or classes for the GMAT.
