Any Queries for FORE School of Management?

Hi seniors !!!
I have secured 90.8 (Sectionals : 92 /82 /81 )percentile in CAT 07 ............Have received call from FORE..............:D

I have decent acads.........

10 th : 92 %

12th : 77 %

Engineering : 75 %

Extra curricular is also decent................

Please let me know if this stats are reveiwed to clear the second round .............does it help anyways..............??? what are the mojr areas stressed upon in the interview...........?

weights are given for the acads, CAT, Gd PI. the total score calculated is used for the final admissions.

can anybdy throw sme light hw da gd/pi process iz carried out ther .... i mean if ther nythin thtz extra ...n also da type of GD topics n da kind of intrvw qstns tht r mostly stressd upon at FORE ....
iz ther ny thread regarding gd/pi experiences at FORE ...
Being an engineer so iz ther nythng specific i need 2 prepare......

HEY GUYS! AND CONGRATS TO ALL THOSE WHO GOT THE CALLS ... THE GD/PI IN FORE IS JUST LIKE THAT IN ANY OTHER B-SCHOOL. I GOT THE SINGUR ISSUE AS GD TOPIC LAST TIME ... WHICH I KNEW INSIDE OUT ... SO MY G.D WENT SUPERB. IN THE INTERVIEW HOWEVER, THERE WERE QUESTIONS FROM ENGINEERING, IF U R FROM A NON RELATED BACKGROUND THEN DEFINITELY EXPECT THE QUESTION "WHY MBA?".

ALSO REMEMBER TO MENTION CORRECT INFORMATION ONLY ... COZ IF THE PANEL THINK U R BLUFFING THEN THEY'LL GRILL U FOR SURE. JUST KEEP UP TO DATE ... READ HINDU, E.T N STUFF ... BEST OF LUCK

still my GD/PI date has not been mentioned on the site and neither I have got my call letter..

What Should I DO?

i need to plan accordingly..please help

i think your call letter should be on its way but you must give the institute a call...look at previous pgs or the website for appropriate no:s

Exp : 18+ Month of exp in MNC( but i left my job in august,2007 for prep.)

10th : 60 %

You have good chances so dont worry and prepare well. you will be grilled on your work ex so be prepared!!

I did not receive any call-letter thru snail-mail... so no dates yet know. :(
Any1 knows the GD dates for Mumbai? and how long does it take... as in full day or only half day
A silly question, i have applied for both PG and IBM... does it mean any diff in my admission process?

I got it on 3rd feb and it was dated 1st feb, so dont worry you will get it within two weeks.

puys i dont mean to dishearten you but I tried callin the deptt and get my date shifted as I hav another PI for LBS in Delhi...they bluntly refused sayin I shud hav thot of this while filling the form (as if i would hav known that these institutes will finalise the same date out of the 365 days of the year! ):2gunfire:

me 2 got same problem.. i have my lbs call on 11/3 n fore 2...
n fore has mentioned in its call letter that they wont entertain any gd/pi date or venue change under any circumstances.

NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF DATES OF GD/PI WILL BE ENTERTAINED :|
