I seem to be under performing everytime i go and give a test in the center. However my scores r always better whn i give the non invigilated ones. Theres absolutely no difference in how i attempt the papers. I try to chose the same timings also.
Someone please suggest.
Also, I thought the LR was easy n VA was tough yet a lot of my time wnt into VA. I dont know if i shud leave one section and proceed to other in case I find it tough and keep the time variable depending upon difficulty level or keep it fixed like 35-40 in VA and 30-35 in LR ??? same for quant and DI !

I was told that you can answer the test on the last day of the AIMCAT. The link will automatically appear on your homepage. Haven't tried it though :/

The centre had no rough sheets,and the bitch there said aise hi de do bina sheets ke 😞 , submitted the test without attempting any questions, will attempt offline, isn't there any way to avoid going to the test centres, i have read here that there was some tweaking going on last year..
Try a different centre, cmc noida ....i had my slot der yesterday at 9 in the morning...dey provide enough rough sheets..!!
i was giving aimcat 1316 at home...........it was working fine but suddenly the some error cam of service not available and was not able to give the exam...........:((
i was doing quant and last 15 min were remaining...........i am trying to open the link.....it is not opening only 😞

Story of every bloody center
Electricity goes off and then all UPS make such "beautiful" noises in unison that makes my day and I attend the mock freely. AC goes off and then the real test starts. Should I leave or stay, is the question that I fight till the end. Not to mention that I always carry rough sheets with me as there are times when they say, "dhundh ke laata hu.. aap start karo". 10 mins go off waiting for him and then I have to start working on the newspaper lying by the side.
Too mainstream these days, I guess.

Although VA was tough but i think a score of 45+ is a must to score 97-98 %ile in section 2.

My first AIMCAT. Late starter. No excuses though. Simply dont get QA in my head..!
I had attempted 24-26 qs in QADI sec..

yeah there was internet problem throughout the test..
Is there any way I can see the options I had marked or I have to wait for the results to come??

analyse the topics that you are not good at and work on their basics..

I gave my first AIMCAT( first online cat) and don't know why but I was not able to concentrate fully in the last few minutes(last 10-15 mins). Need to build up my stamina for this 140 mins long test. Has any of you experienced this while u started giving these aimcats? please do share

don't do 3rc's or 3lr q's in a row,mix them up so that ur interest levels remain the same till the end
this generally happens with everyone. as we all have no habit of sitting over computer for long duration of 2 hrs.
the main reason behind this lack of concentration is that few of us take or treat Aimcats as like the real CAT exam. if you treat every aimcat as your last and final exam you will never loose concentration.

I'm not new to AIMCATs (I wrote them in preparation for CAT 2010) , but I don't know if the rules have changed. I booked a slot in the Secunderabad centre. I remember that in the same year one of my friends wrote an AIMCAT in a later slot than what he'd booked. Does anyone have any such experience this year?
Yes, you can give the test later in case of TIME's AIMCATs on a condition that your Centre Manager is kind enough to provide you the Access Code later also. The AIMCAT 1316 would be accessible to you until the slot ends, You can use the Access Code that was given, to give the AIMCAT in a later empty slot.

in the above link says that there would be 15 mock cats for the advanced course but in my home page i can see too few.
Bhai, these 15 Mock CATs will be available to you by the end of September. What they do is that - They upload the Mock CATs slowly. One MC is uploaded per week I guess so slowly, you will get all the Mock CATs. Don't Panic. :):)
