Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam is happy to notify an upward revision in the compensation packages offered to IIM Visakhapatnam PGP 2020-2022 batch in their final placements, completed on December 31, 2021.
With the pandemic risks decreasing significantly and businesses bouncing back to a high-growth track, the highest package now stands at INR 31.60 lakh, recording a vast 51.78% growth over the last year. The median and average packages have also witnessed a significant hike to INR 15.46 lakh and INR 15.06 lakh, registering a rise of 28.83% and 19.33%, respectively, over the previous season. We take immense pleasure to announce that Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam concluded the Summer Placements Drive for the MBA 2023 batch, upholding its legacy of 100% placements. The average stipend across the batch is at INR 57,700, while the highest stipend, at INR 3,50,000 for the two-month internship, witnessed a 75% increase over the last year.

IIM Vishakhapatnam has started Phase 2A of the admission process for the incoming PGP 2022-2024 batch. In Phase 2A, students are required to use their credentials, get through the login page and reconfirm their interest to be considered for further rounds. The deadline for completing this process is March 31, 2022.
Note: There is also a provision for making corrections to the information that you have submitted in CAT form. Please read the point no. 2 on the Reconfirmation page.

Consider a candidate who completed his/her bachelors in May 2021, got job in August 2021.
So, in this case, his/her work-ex as of July 31st, 2021 will be zero, and he/she will be awarded work-ex score of zero for final score calculation.
But in reality, till the last date of filling IIMV application form, he/she will have completed 6-7 months of work-ex.
Isn’t it unfair, that the grading system works on the past data, even after entering the latest details in the IIMV application form along with required proofs…?
As per the email, they are saying that IIM Visakhapatnam form will be used for Personal Interview. Where as CAT data will be used for scores calculation purpose.

IIM Visakhapatnam is happy to announce the launch of the merit-based scholarship scheme for the PGP Batch of 2022-24. Under this, the top two academic performers in each of the four sections at the end of Year 1 will receive a waiver or reimbursement of tuition fees up to a maximum of INR 6.0 lakhs per student. The said grant is subject to the potential awardees satisfying all the program requirements in the PGP handbook.
The Merit-Based Scholarship scheme for the flagship PGP program supplements the ongoing Need-Based Financial Aid Scheme for PGP participants at IIM Visakhapatnam.
