Dear all,

Now that you've made it through the first big step towards getting into MICA, it's nearly time for the next. A few general tips:

For the Group Exercise:

Unlike a traditional group discussion, the group exercise will involve a real-time activity/task to be undertaken & performed to the best of your ability. Things tested at this stage will involve your teamwork, clarity of thought, & the actual execution of your proposed solution to a given problem or topic. Exercises can revolve around different brands, products, services etc. that will compel you to apply your general awareness, spontaneity, and eye for detail in equal measure.

For the Personal Interview:

1. Know your CV in and out.
2. Carry all relevant documents as mentioned.
3. Be observant - you never know what you'll actually be asked.
4. Brush up on current GK.
5. Practice guesstimate questions
6. Most importantly, be honest. If you don't know the answer to a question, then don't make things up as you'll be easily seen through.

Hi Seniors!

Is it necessary to get the SOP handwritten? I seem to have reached the word limit (12 lines!) so can I edit the application in word and get it printed?

@MICAstudents Please tell me, what should we mention in grades in class 10, 12 as it hasn't been mentioned explicitly, do grades mean, distinction, 1 division and other? Also, what are major subjects of class 10?

Have got 49.87% (3 marks less of 50%), am I eligible for MICA(16-17)?

XAT 2014 score- 85percentile, will again appear for XAT 2015 & 16 for the sake of MICAT. Is this the right decision.. will prep for MICA only if m eligible (rather say appear for XAT to get into MICA), else its wasteful. Ancipating ur reply at the earliest!

Hi @MICAstudents, kindly guide us regarding the XAT score that we need to put in the MICA portal , which it would be in the Score section:

a) Percentage of the marks scored 

b) Actual Score by converting the percentage into marks 

c) Raw Score(Marks Obtained - Negative marks in that section) as published earlier by XAT
