I have got selected for ISO. They have released the list of only 29 students against 22posts..
I just didn't understand the logic.. can anyone explain it?
@manishkumar1512 Every company will be keeping some cut-off (qualifying marks) in written test.... The No. of persons who crossed that cut-off may be 29 and the remaining haven't crossed it..... So if u perform good enough (i.e getting above the min. qualifying marks) in interview then u have a great chance of making it into HPCL!!!!!!!
@rohith29 wont they decrease the cut off .. If less people are able to cross it?
@manishkumar1512 No they wont reduce the qualify marks!!! If they don't find the right candidate then they will add the remaining posts to next yr.... Thats the reason why u can see the backlog vacancies!!!!!!
@Rohith29 It seems highly improbable but if this is the case then its really good for me.. But i was thinking they might have reduced the no of openings.. What do you say?
@manishkumar1512 May be!!!!!But if they get the right candidate, they will select them!!!! So, u have good chance of making it.....
