P.S. Note that 180 confirmed calls have already been given for just 120 seats. Add 60 to get ur original waitlist no...

i think last year, it cleared till around wl40( there were 180 calls for 120 seats last year too)

I called at the adm off yesterday they said that last year the upto 23 the wt ls got cleared and upto 77 the previous year, so keep our finger crossed donno wht is going to happen this time.
i thk if we can collect some figures of ppl not joining XIMB we can figure out roughly our chances of getting in. so keep this thread alive....................
actually, me too had called admissions office for 40, they said there was a bright chance ... they said there was very good chance keeping in view previous years positions...
But frankly, anxiety is killing me.
Lets help each other out guys...
Thanx mikstar for ur post- It gave me a lot of solace though admissions said that only 23 had cleared last yr even to me!!!!
moi wl14, personally quite hopeful of my chances. A 120 person wl has to clear till 14 at least, what say? What are the other calls you all have?

Pls dont forget to pray for us poor souls... Acually I have a couple of job offers from HCl, Cts, but dont want any disruption... Had a good GD and okPi Guess my percentile did me in- just 93.XX

Me 2 only XIMB, it is said tht when u want something very badly whole universe conspire to help u so, pray that we all might get in. i had gone to yahoo group of XIMB 2005-07 where 24 people had already joined that group , donno how many had not joinrd that group but will be joining XIMB so keep our finger crossed.

WL 3 => 3 + 60 = 63 (actual).
Everybodys telling me thats as good as thru...but theres many a slip between the lip and cup (is that a correct one? Or was it "many a slip between sip and cup"...whatever!) !
BTW have resigned from job and am in notice period currently, and yet no letter...conf guys got there letters in Mumbai 2 days back....so all the more anxious!
ATB all WL guys....for XIMB and other colleges as well.
Hope we all have a happy story at the end of the admission season.

xl wl 32 for bm, right? then you will probably make it.
The only thing i am afraid of is that wl14 is essentially wl74 & i doubt whether 2 many orissa domicile ppl wud opt out of the course!!!!

bcos there might be exceptions to the trend.... for example in nm, last year, for 120 open seats,it cleared till merit rank 242. Now the lady at the admissions office is saying that this year, for 204 seats, it should clear till around 235 only( the last date for fee submission is 16th, so it has to be her opinion only). If she is right (which i dont think she is), it would be a major departure from the trend.Similarly,i was thinking what if there is one at ximb too....

guys i am also waitlisted & man this wl thing is nerve wrecking.
have been trying to keep track of all the people not joining ximb through my very own pg. so heres my take:
first i tried 2 collect the names of all the people who got confirmed calls on pg : total of 36 i have been able 2 get

also with lots of guys with multiple calls still 2 decide which college 2 take , lets hope for the best.

ya i am for BM but still very tensed whether i'll convert it or not, nways i am still leaving XIMB as i'll be joining IIT Kharagpur otherwise.
