SO THAT'S ALL ABOUT THE EXAM GUYS!

LETS GET GOING.......AND DISCUSS OUR STRATEGIES & EVERYTHING THAT CAN GET US THERE!!

SO JOIN IN......THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!

Lets begin by sharing our strategies for cracking the exam..

Since Maths & GK are my weakest sections I need to work real hard on both these.

1. For Maths I plan to go through R.S.Aggrawal Quantitative Aptitude book.

2. For GK I have no clue & im already too bad at it.. :-(

3. For English I have no specific book but I have some online resources which I am using for preparation.

4. Reasoning- The best and most scoring section of the paper ..I guess previous papers would be a good source for the same.

And since less than 3 months are left for the exam so i need to go thru the maths book real quick..
Any suggestions for a decent GK book are welcome!..

Here I go ...N i'll be back soon with some useful material!
All the Best !! :cheerio:

Group X salaries are necessarily not more than Group Y posts..
And Group X posts too are not necessarily present in Delhi. Though in Group Y you get option to choose the sate you want to work in which is not available in Group X.

Example: 6 cities come under category X (frm salary point of view) with respect to HRA i.e all the metropolitan cities.

Also, some categories coming under Group Y in certain stated are treated at par with Group X given with respect to Travel allowance.
So it depends on the city u are posted in.

In case u dont wish to work in delhi u can give ur prefernce ay group y and select the state u wish to work in as the 1st preference.

All the Best..!

gp X are restricted to delhi only. basic salary is same for both gp x and y. you might end up getting more cash in hand in gp x because of 30% hra in delhi.
