absolutely rite whatsinaname, thanx for helpin me out,Life is beautiful, itz a gem of a movie to watch, i think so.schindlers list was speilberg,s project at the film intitute , can u imagine , a project which fetched so many oscars, man hats off to him.
as someone else pointed out .............sawshank redemption( morgan freeman and the other actor i dont remember the name .........excellent piece of work).............lawrence of arabia(peter otul,omar sherieff.............no one can forget these movies)the roman holiday(gregory peck),magnificient seven(yul garner , the first bald hero of hollywood who shook the world with his looks), benhur(charlton heston, yul garner.....),pianist..................these all r awsome movies one of a kind so very hard to grade and rate them.

1. Jaane bhi do yaaron ( for the originality of concept, brilliant situational comedy,dialogues n of course the performances)
2. Chupke Chupke ( Dharam paji was simply sensational )
3. Hera Pheri ( except for originality thing..same reasons as those of Jaane bhi..)

5. RDB ( both have similar elements...gr8 directors with vision n no nonsense execution )

1. Forrest Gump ( Tom hanks all the way....infact most of his movies wud qualify to be mentioned here..maybe except for the utterly forgettable "Lady killers" )
2. Matrix ( it took sci-fi genre to a new level altogether)
3. Shawshank Redemption ( As it says....Hope can set you free ...its a potion for the soul )

Hey i m shocked that no body talked abt an old classiq i.e love story.
Also has anybody seen memoirs of geisha. its an beautiful movie.
i8 also hav read the book but this is the first time that i enjoyed
movie more than the book. go for it, its an wonderful experience.

Watched Evil Dead 2 this weekend, gr8 movie, one I wudnt really mind watching many times.
Sam Raimi manages to combine dark humour with a bit of gore, makes for a very interesting combination. I found myself laughing like hell throughout the movie

recently watched the movie named SAW--- amazing movie..worth watching...now waiting to see SAW 2( have read on some forums that its even better than the original!!!!!!!)
