hey ... how many of you have seen Shindler's list ... it's one of steven speilber's best movies ever ..... the movie made around the yr 1992 - 93 was taken in black and white ... it focusses on the nazi tourture camps in germany where jews were tortured like hell and murdered .... see the movie ... waiting for ur replies on that

I've seen it, own a disc, watch it a thousand times. Done some research on Schindler and collected a copy of the actual Schindler's list. So im a li'l aware of what the movie is all about.

Howevr, not many know that it is one of the perfect movies of all times, the fact that it was made in B/w (most if it) made it real, plus spielberg's effect can be seen throughout the movie.

The sad part is, it can't be shown on TV, can't be released in theaters now, and I dont think many people rent movies about which they dont know much.

Just one advice,

SEE IT ONCE, SERIOUSLY, ITS WORTH IT!!!

sorry to interrupt but going thru most of the posts gives an impression of chosing the most awkward or dramatic movies n not the ones which we can watch quite often..............................can we explain DDLJ being not given its share?:wow: ......................so plz take care to include some regular okey types flicks n not the stuff loaded with ultra melodrama.:) :

Andy, no one is forced to choose the movies, however when we're discussing about the movies that we can see many no of times, we tend to choose ones which really mean a lot to us. Hence the entries for dramatic movies. However you can see movies like Golmal, Angoor, Jaane bhi do yaron, etc. These are not "Heavy", "Serious" movies. are they?

And what do you mean by Awkward movies?

i) Hotel Rwanda...quite a poignant documentary...Must watch for all humanitarians.
ii) Forrest Gump.
iii) Gladiator.
iv) Saving Private Ryan.
v) Fifty First Dates.
vi) Bridge on the River Kwai.
And there are many wonderful ones..which I havnt listed.
