I looove this thread cos I looove movies.

Three English: To be frank, there are a lot movies. I am just listing three here as they strike my memory right now and perhaps because others haven't listed them so far. How do those guyz do that?

1. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: The background score never leaves you, the story pace is slow but earthy and ample attention is paid to details, the end is just just too good. If you haven't seen it, please see it.
2. Back to the future: Fantasy, but what amazes me is the techological wizardry they used in the 80s still does'nt appear tacky to this day; it's perfect and wow, what imagination.
3. Dirty Dancing: It's all about dancing; and watchout for the last dance in that movie. I did'nt know Patrick Swayze was a good dancer.

Probably, I can add in a lot, lot more.

Three Hindi: I only wish they did'nt lift stories as blatantly from Tamil movies or any languages and did something original.

1.Half Ticket: This is where you have Kishore Kumar's immortal words, "Main Pagal Nahin hoon, Mera Dimaag kharaab hain". Nonstop Laughter.
2.Ankhen: The one with Govinda and Chunky Pandey in it. Though the story has been lifted from the kannada movie "kittu puttu", the movie is better than the original.
3.Lagaan: I probably love this because this was the first movie where in an Indian movie maker aka Aamir Khan really respects the brains of the Indian movie goers and tries something new; quite something if you look at movies that came in the not so recent past.

Three Tamil: I am not a Tamilian, but guyz, I tell you, these guyz Rock with a capital R. These guys churn out hit movies like anything. Music, camera techniques, story, entertainer, creativity - you name it, they have got it all. These guyz are the only reason that I can think of buying a DVD player. And yes, probably, I can add in a lot, lot more to the list below.

1. Kaakha, Kaakha: Is to come out soon in Hindi with Amitabh's son in lead. The story is "different" and is told "differently".
2. Boyz: The creativity in the songs and picturization puts any hardcore music video to shame.
3. Gillie: Apart from Vijay, Trisha, Prakash Raj, it is story and style. Though the ending is not up to the mark, chalta hai.
