hi Guys, am doing this after a really long time. 

I am a PSU executive with total 6 years work ex. 2 of which were technical in an IT company and 4 as a Jr Manager. i have just been promoted. However, I now think that i should go for a One Year MBA. Do u think it would be wise ? if so , which exam should I give CAT , XAT or GMAT ? which all should be my target colleges?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey puys, everywhr i see mba grads with marketing specialization have been put up into direct sales (specially banking ,fmcg,insurance ) sector.. i have 2 frnds both were from a decent b-school .. they joined icici,sbi-life and even after getting a good package (eg.- deputy sales manager,management trainee,sales manager) they have to interect face to face for direct sales/marketing i.e they have to go out for field work on a regular basis...

I know sales is a integral part of marketing but still itna sales focused career after marketing specialization.  :-(  :-(  

Actually, have been targeting mba-marketing for some years..(tired of it sectors/jobs) .. sochta hoon finance le loon next yr..   any frank thoughts guys/gals...    ;-p
