Hello guys. I am a fresher btech electronics undergrad at Mumbai university (KJ Somaiya College of Engineering) currently in the final sem (69.3% till Sem 7). Scored 92.81% in CAT 15. I have got calls from IMT Ghaziabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, Delhi School of Economics, BITS Pilani, NIT Trichy. Have already converted SIMS Pune. I have two major doubts :- 1. Should I join the above said B schools considering I do convert them? Please rank them if possible. Also any specific opinion about SIMS Pune would be helpful. 2. I have already got placed in TCS during my undergrad but I don't wanna take up an IT job. Also how feasible and practical would it be to give up all my options and appear for CAT again next year. I don't want to regret losing a good opportunity this year hence my dilemma. Any other suggestions are welcome! :-)

Puys, I Really need advice! I am an ECE graduate. Gave snap to get into SIMC (Yes, u read it right, even though some will say it's not at all good go for MICA etc...) but when I had read about the course, it excited me, but now I am in dilemma whether to go for SIMC or SITM. Since I belong to ECE & the avg. placement of SITM is far far better. But then I read the course structure felt like yaar phirse IT mein janaa padega kya? I am not at all interested in IT stuffs. Help me guys I am interested in Digital Marketing.
P.S : Not targeting for IIMS (even new ones)
Hi Puys this might sound little arrogant but please if you can afford to take a drop the go ahead and take a drop and prepare for CAT 16, XAT 17, CMAT 17 and try to score maximum there except few most of you are less than 24 years, its MBA probably the last time you are going to study, last time you are going to invest in your studies, whether one is investing 4 lakhs or investing 20 lakhs both the investment is huge, think wisely before invest, just don't land up in any college just for sake of doing MBA corporates where most of you want to go are not "Idiots" that they will hire you pay you lakhs of money just for MBA degree, if you are thinking this way then God bless you. MBA/PGDM education does only mean learning from faculty at School but it also mean the exposure which your batch mate brings in, the quality of batchmates matters a lot for learning, a good industry exposure.
Before joining any college finally , please do visit the campus have a talk to current students, catch up the alumni on Linkedin know the real story about everything.
Guys, how is Great Lakes PGPM (1 year) ? I have 3 and half year work ex in supply chain?? I have given IMT G interview and XIMB interview is scheduled on 16th March.
